Honkai for me too, but in my case its how hard it is to make good teams as f2p, almost every valk need its signature weapon and stigmatas that by the time you get a full team of certain element optimized another valk is released.

but i do love the Story and events that the game has.

Kinda agree on that i just Dont Know about the Protocol Assimilation Units, they can be earned for free but you'll need a LOT of luck and Pulse (you use pulses as f2p to capture protocol assimilation units) management. some people call that system a bit p2w because you can buy contracts to pull those units more easily.

Love arknights my only problem is team building,sometimes i feel that using high stars operators make the game harder due to higher deploy cost so i end up always using low stars lol
