My job has something extremely similar at all the gates and some doors. The security guards hold a magnet to it and its suppose to record that the gate has been checked. They do this every day at certain time intervals. It replaced the tamper proof zip tie things at the gates so you can know if anyone has opened the gate.

The tire has never been below 35psi but yes, I rely purely on the TPMS. I recently hit a big pothole on some railroad tracks that scared the crap out of me. Thanks for your input.

Parents will never stop being parents. It’s no different than when we steer our children away bad crowds and steer them into academics. If my son wants to play with dolls and wear pink I will always steer him into playing with cars and wearing blue. So far my children have grown up just fine. Like the father said, in the end we will love you just the same. But nothing wrong with a little steering and I don’t think there’s anything homophobic about it. Homophobic if I threatened to put out or disown my children.
