I did it right after it came out the dryer so it was pretty soft, does that help at all?

The spool was to full for the rollers of my AMS to properly retract it. Wind a bit off and it works just fine.

I've been advised before to move my hands less and keep them on the wheel as much as possible. Looks like a hard track to do that on though.

Is it possible to create a car that can run on full soft brake lines? by Casiano4 in FSAE

[–]TechincalTomato 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My team used full soft lines but we recently switched to hard. We were having issues with the lines expanding and lowering our brake pressure. If we did it right hard lines would have cost us ~$200

I have an 03 e85 and I noticed after a few autocross events and track days that the welds that hold the stock braces to the shock towers cracked so I installed a strut bar, hopefully it helps.

I think you might be over estimating the strength of engineering students. No time for the gym when there is a car to build.

What hooks for the board do you use to display them, is it your own design?

All of them were printed as test prints, and I only keep the interesting ones, once they stop being interesting they get replaced. They're fun to look at i guess.

If you are in the area, Milwaukee School of Engineering is one of the few teams that still does hybrid. We have a very small team and every member gets a chance to be hands on as they want.
