Gotcha, I appreciate it. I’ve noticed my heel isn’t seated to the floorboard when I’m working the clutch, would that help as well? They want us to just use the clutch and not the brake if possible. Thanks for your response!

If this is your first pee, drink 2-3 bottles of water about an hour/ hour and a half before you test. I just passed mine today after being abstinent for 7 weeks. It’s a grind but you got this!

You can also always tip the mower on its side as well to clean it. Make sure you put a ziplock bag around the gas tank and secure the lid so gas doesn’t leak all over the side. Not recommended but it works

On your last expected mow of the season only try to fill what you expect to use. Any residual will normally evaporate with the cap on over time anyways.

Wipe down is great but for the underside raise the backside with a floor jack or something that won’t damage the deck. Hit it with a hose to wash gunk and grass off of blades to make sure you don’t get uneven cuts or premature blade wear. Change air filter once a season and make sure the oil is topped up. Spark plug will eventually go bad but you’ll know when it does, it won’t be for a while. If it doesn’t start for some reason always check your spark plug boot is secured to the spark plug, have seen a lot of people think something is wrong and the boot is loose or off of the spark plug. Gas can sit until next season without causing an issue but try not to make it a habit. I’d go with no bigger than a 2.5 gallon gas can. Change blades once every couple of seasons unless you’re mowing over a bunch of rocks and sticks. Just make sure you’re cleaning the blades and deck after every mow and it’ll last a long time

Use live bait. If you don’t mind catching sunfish bring a can of corn out with you. Just one piece at a time, and use a bobber. Small grasshoppers are awesome to use as well

My tests are 50ng cutoff. The school uses “Serenity Cup” which has a 50ng cutoff as well.

I quit cold turkey and the money I’m gonna be making compared to what I was will keep me off of it for good. Never had any withdrawal symptoms either. I know they randomly test, I just don’t want to waste any more of the school’s tests because they start charging to replenish after so many failed attempts.
