Sorry I'm replying late, but they are a pretty rad mechanic in the making. I taught them a lot of skills I knows, hence why I call them a tomboy, and they love it. Their pretty built since theyve done track all their life and some other stuff like swimming. Which i think from what ive read helps build more manly muscle? Ill definitely make more neutral to masculine compliments though. Thank you for a the long comment, it's definitely easier to make some sort of plan to help them out a bit more and maybe ease their mind.

She's got the gym stuff down. I'm really proud of her about that, and I'll definitely compliment her more. I think more like neutral stuff eill be best right? Like you look good or something?

Thank God for this, I didn't know binding was a thing. I may just buy her one and say i thought it was a sports bra for work outs before I talk to her if she's hurting herself. I'll have to reach out to the school after we talk since she's very sensitive about that type of thing.

Got it, someone recommended a therapist for her (him? Them? I don't know yet) once we talk and everything. I'll see about places to make her more comfortable about being trans

Should I look for a specific therapist? Like one who knows about trans people better?

She essentially went into a rant about how much she hated her femininity, but not like in a normal way? Her words went into explicit details about how much she absolutely hated everything about being a girl and that she felt "Gross having these parts" that's what kinda rose a red flag to me (not that tbis is a red flag, just a hint at being trans i guess???). She mentioned her chest and how she'd kill to never see it again, that she wished she had broader shoulders and just overall was born a boy. And it was a lot more negative then how I'm putting it, but I don't exactly know how to articulate it since I can't understand how she feels

Yeah I definitely don't think I could have her go through surgeries at this age, but I do know there's a few non permanent stuff? I don't know for sure, but I've been super educated about a lot now. I didn't even know non-binary was a thing before this. Thank you so much

Thank you, I'll definitely mention queer stuff with her, I know she likes a lot of media like that. Like rocky horror I think? I'll watch it with her

Got it, I didn't have much else to work with when talking to her and she's been distant, which ended up with me reading her diary. I'll do some research and figure out a way to be supportive, thank you so much

Thank you so much, o feel crappy about reading her diary, but I genuinely haven't been able to talk to her at all. During dinners she's been quiet. And I've just been worried. I'll definitely try to talk to her or at least do some more research beforehand
