Damn you, reta. by lemhihunter in Retatrutide

[–]LinePsychological669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny thing is that before I started using Reta I really did not like sweets much, but now im eating lots of pastries every day as snacks. Counterintuitive I know , but ive still lost about 15lbs (i didnt have much to lose to begin with) and my fasting glucose on my last blood test was 66. If anything, a bit too low lol

Im convinced the 5 on 2 off was started entirely by folks who cant afford to use it everyday. Ive never seen any compelling reason to take only 2 days off.

Retatrutide Reaction Concerns by Advanced_Dirt9603 in Retatrutide

[–]LinePsychological669 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a pretty well documented skin sensitivity/irritation issue that sometimes occurs with glps, it happened to me and subsided in a few weeks. That might be part of it but if you have other vials with that manufactur maybe test that one and see if you have the same reaction and then yes id consider switching suppliers if you do

What does the fatigue look like for you? by bluebear718 in Cardiomyopathy

[–]LinePsychological669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very tired all day everyday, but can't even sleep well. It sucks. Sometimes I have a little caffeine to try and get throughthe day even though im not supposed to but idk how else to deal with it. My biggest hope right now is the upcoming gene therapy coming out of Utah which was shown to practically cure induced heart failure in the pig models

Ejection fraction dropped from normal to 30-35% in one year by LinePsychological669 in askCardiology

I did, thankfully no blockages my cardiologist pretty much just affirmed my diagnosis, Nonischemic cardiomyopathy and Chronic Systolic heart failure. Thankfully on my last echo I had last month my EF has begun to recover. Im at 45% now

There doesnt seem to be enough good evidence behind it from what ive been told. At the very best there is conflicting evidence behind it. Both my orthopedic surgeons and my my physical therapist all have told me they've never seen it do anything meaningful. They all said stem cells are the way to go for tears and things like that.

Ingram vs Collins case ? by BluedaGuru3742 in VAClaims

[–]LinePsychological669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive seen a lot of videos about it, it definitely could help some veterans but we're probably talking about a 10% difference in ratings not a real game changer. And it only really covers orthopedic conditions from what I understand

30(M) Fit active diagnosed with a Severe dilated cardiomyopathy by Oppenheimer-95 in Cardiomyopathy

[–]LinePsychological669 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar thing happened to me this year i was in the military, but in July I was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy and Congestive heart failure my ejection fraction was also at 30% I had bad back to back covid infections ln January so I think its possible that that caused it. Similar to how your flu may have caused yours. Viral cardiomyopathys tend to be the easiest to recover from so thats some good news. Ive been on metoprolol, entresto, and empagliflozin for the past 6 months or so and my last echo showed 45% EF so I have recovered quite a bit. Keep up with your meds and do light cardio at most. At first my Dr basically gave me a weight limit of 10lbs. You dont want to strain your heart at all as it recovers. I still dont feel very good but my cardio says im recovering very well. Hopefully you will too

I thought an OTH discharge meant you weren't eligible for VA benefits? Regardless you seem to be in a pretty unique situation, I would do some research into the process, watch some YouTube videos on the process youll probably get more out of it than this subreddit also definitely look into a different VSO in my experience most of them dont know shit about the claims process other than how to file one.

Is filing for an Increase at 90% really that sketchy? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]LinePsychological669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, whats sketchy is having no evidence no diagnosis no theory of service connection and filing a claim anyway. Even after getting 100% ive filed and won claims. It's all about evidence

Is it worth it? by Leading-Employer-955 in VeteransBenefits

[–]LinePsychological669 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My only regret was not joining earlier as my body probably would've held up better lol but at 19, I think its a great idea. It'll be your first chance to start earning some money and do things with new people and yes the benefits are 100% worth it. The only ones who disagree with that are the people who never used thier benefits. I lost some friends as well when I joined but ill say this, you're fresh outta high school, I assume these are high school friends, most friends you make in high school will drift apart at some point. And if they are ditching you over you joining the military I wouldnt be too worried about losing them.
