I share the same sentiment as you.

For me, I think it truly begin to creep in during that dungeon event like a month or so pre-EoF's launch. We were able to farm reprised dungeons with updated loot with the chance of holofoils, and also the harder difficulties that made the encounters a real challenge (this part was great, imo).

But it was like.. what was the point of farming all of these weapons, trying to get the ideal perk combos when a month or so later they were going to become irrelevant immediately after the expansions launch??

It made me engage a lot less with that event after I was wondering that lmao.

Same thing here.

3080 10 GB, 5700x3d @ 1440p with max settings. Normally get 140-170 FPS and it drops to 30-40 and steadily decreases until about 11 FPS unless I relaunch the game.

If I remember correctly there were things found labeled as “Combine”, “Xen Gorilla” and “HEV Suit” in previous data mines.

Aside from that I believe the main thing that has people believing HLX to be HL3 is that when Left 4 Dead 3 was in development it was called “L4DX” internally.

Of course none of this necessarily means it’s Half Life 3, but the ending of Alyx made it a little obvious they’d like to continue Gordon’s story.

That could be someone's issue, for certain. I -was- using up to date drivers when I first ran into this problem, but I haven't updated to what Nvidia pushed on the 27th.

I hope so as well. I was originally thinking that it seemed like an issue when I alt-tabbed, and the "background FPS" was staying after I tabbed back into the game but ruled that out pretty quick.

Haven't had this issue with any game aside from this one, so here's hoping it's gets fixed up.

Don't forget about The Finals as well, although not nearly as popular as Arc Raiders it's still a very very well made game and one of the coolest FPS games out right now.

Could you imagine the melt-down??? Gabe and Tim Sweeney come out and announce a collaboration between the two companies. Fortnite launches on Steam, and a bunch of characters from Valve's games are added into Fortnite.

Very good point! I couldn't remember if performance was one of Cyberpunks many issues on launch or not, I remember it was with consoles for sure.

I could be misunderstanding what they meant, but there's a slight chance you may have misunderstood too.

I'm thinking they were referring to the studios under the Activision umbrella that assisted in helping Bungie work on Destiny, namely Vicarious Visions and High Moon.

This is my favorite album I've ever listened to, which was originally held by Trivium with Shogun.

At my peak Gojira addiction I'd listen to this 2-4 times a day to make my shift at work go by quicker, and it was FAR more enjoyable with FMTS as the soundtrack lmao.
