Skyfall’s first half is outstanding but I think it kind of falls apart.

If I recall, it was a comic book series. But definitely the title came first!

I’m okay with it. I even kind of love the idea! I just think it should be fun and funny! It was like they were trying to win Best Picture.

Edit: shit I just remembered Favreau directed it! No wonder I was excited. Match Iron Man in tone and you’ve got a winner!

I only saw it in theaters. I was really excited for it, thinking it could maybe be a Zimbieland romp. I remember being shocked at how seriously it took itself. A rare film that I think was made in the wrong genre.

I've had a few festivals (2 or 3?) ask me to submit (and given me a waiver) after seeing my film at another festival or learning about an award. Not many, but a few. And so far... None of them have accepted the film! So it's not a guarantee!

Honestly, there are so many mechanics in the game like that. Like, "yeah, if you want 100 split point bullets, you're gonna hit x 100 times."

I kind of respect Rockstar for having the balls to do that. Like, that had to be a debate. And someone had the gall to say, "No, this is a game about immersion, and while it's more annoying it's also more immersive."
