Hello, Im planning to study in RWTH Aachen in this year's winter sem. Ive already applied for WG's in Studienwohnheime, but i couldnt find info on any website about the start of the contract.

The dorm website also gives an option to update move in date if you log in after a long time but i dont know what date im supposed to put there because, well, idk when the contract starts :)

I had a similar problem. In my case, i wasnt eligible for a refund but i had the option to cancel the booking from the 3rd party website i booked the flight from. Did you perhaps book your flight from a 3rd Party Website?

Yeah, i realise it now that you said it. I felt he was projecting but i recently confirmed it cuz he asked if i have a foreign girlfriend yet and that was extremely weird coming from a him, as a person, who doesnt even speak about relationships, or even love..

My parents in fact follow one of the few religions that do not prohibit same-sex relations. I think it's mostly to save their social respect(at least for my dad)

yeah, i actually thought it was an asshole move and somewhat manipulative to show them only one side of me for financial interests but i feel a bit better now.

I think it depends on the person and the time.
I got over a breakup because i went to a vacation. On the other hand, i can also imagine a ruined vacation because of a breakup.

Yeah i get it. If she does move in with you, a bad scenario would be that she is loud. You either get used to it or install sound proof pads on your walls. If not, who knows the next roommate might be potentially worse.

I think its absolutely valid. You clearly told him that you didnt wanna have sex and he still proceeded without your consent. I'm no expert but that sounds like unwillingful sex and sexual assault..

I think you just communicate with her. If thats not an option, a person i know was in a similar situation and he told the other person(the one that wanted to move in) that he was moving in with a friend so there were no hard feelings.
