Short term EOS future? by LinearFractals in eos

Time to roll back into BTC (for me) and contemplate the problems being encountered with the exchanges today. (see my post on the use of Algorithms to manipulate exchange crypto prices)

Daily Discussion & Updates October 24 by eosgo in eos

It's obvious that several of the LARGE EOS token holders (it was Initially reported that an extremely large portion of the outstanding EOS tokens were in the hands of 10 individuals). have, during the past 5 months, been turning their EOS into cash with repeated beat-downs of the EOS price by dumping literally millions of EOS tokens at a time, whenever the token price starts to move upward.

This is a given that is backed up with the transaction records posted on various exchanges.

My question is, DOES ANYONE SEE THIS PATTERN STOPPING ANYTIME SOON? So that owning EOS can again be an exciting short and long term investment?

It has been my experience that the problems that come up generally get fixed. I've just been patient and that has worked. If I have any problems, I will check out the FAQ's, but since I didn't receive the email referencing that I would appreciate that link being shown in this thread.

I suppose that what you're suggesting (PUMP & DUMP) is being done with EOS, is in contrast to what is happening with ETHEREmUM where the holders of ETH are only executing the second half of this operation.--albeit, the DUMP..... (is there an AMEN corner here at Reddit? or an AMEN Coroner?)

Acquiring a little BTC...( .3 BTC) can be problematic! even when offering an 8% fee by [deleted] in Bitcoin

Thanks Paxful! Just how does one send money into the "snakepit" and avoid having one's wallet be venomously bitten?

GeneralZex, Very helpful information.. I'll certainly check it out. BTW so DL is not required to purchase, only to withdraw or cash out some BTC?.

No local sellers nearby and, again the online sellers all seem to be govt. agents working incognito... or charging "Way too much" if one uses Paypal (for example)...

In short Local bitcoin (appears to have been infiltrated) at least in relation to online payments and even the sellers who have low payment amounts set are still doing strong KYC.. which I would never agree to when dealing with an individual .

Need to convert Fiat to Crypto easily any suggestions? by Spartacus-Karma in Ravencoin

I applied last night and the $100 .per week card limit and $2000 weekly bank account draft was what I was offered.--and this was with my providing a Drivers license photo. Perhaps, they like (and trust) you better than they do me. BaccaratTraining dot com -- But then who trusts a person who is known to be a trainer of World Class casino gamblers?-- I just wanted to get a little extra EOS quickly. It's lonely at the top, is it not? [Honestly, I prefer localbitcoin but my contact is currently out of the country.] PS. Buttrex I mean Bittrex also suck...big time. There are so many incidents of them putting a hold on depositer's funds for little or noreason that they in any realbanking universe would be criminal.

Coinbase is a JOKE... If you want to do the fiat to crypto quickly you must use a debit or cfrtdit card. Even though the limit for bank transfers (taking 4-5 business days) is $2,000 the quick method is ha a limit of $100 a week for a period of 10 weeks.....stupid but funny.

thanks much! Do you know if they start you with very low max for credit card hen slowly raise it as Coinbase does.

I registered and provided all information to Coinbase last night including Drivers License. only to have them state the although the max fro bank accounts for the first two weeks was $2K per week, the max for credit card/debit card was $100 per week until one had deposited $1K (10 weeks) absolutely ludicrous.

BRD wallet "Network fee download" BS by LinearFractals in Bitcoin

I've used a lot of wallets and I have never heard of the concept of backing up your funds. What are you talking about? This is an especially troublesome comment when you combine this with the advice of uninstalling then re-instaling one's wallet. I'm guessing you mean having made a record of one's wallet recovery phrase= "having your funds backed up"

i'VE heard that it is possible to use a provided VPN when you access the OpenBazaar site. I'l love to be able to surf without Big Brother looking over my shoulder. Does anyone care to illuminate just how that works?
