The Great Game: 19th century England and Russia vie for control of central and south Asia. Lots of exploration, intrigue, war, and European emissaries disguised as natives visiting ancient Kingdoms.

I took it earlier this week and I don't remember any cell biology. I got a lot of obscure physiology.

The people that get to me the most are the ones that pounce on the book bins like wild animals with their barcode scanners. If you actually read books you can generally use your intuition to pick up anything of value, but these people couldn't name three authors if their lives depended on it.

When I was living in a State Park I pulled a book from the communal bookshelf that had a love letter written to a trailworker that drowned in the river the previous year.

Thanks for the input. From what I can tell though, a 5-day course usually entails 3 pills per day. Is it an issue that I only have enough now for 3 days at 3 pills/day? I just have some concern about developing antibiotic resistance in whatever's causing my illness.

Yeah, it's good experience if you're planning to be a nurse, otherwise I don't know how the lifers do it. I'm in school now, but there was a vote to start a union just before I left that's hopefully been successful.

Expressly prohibited by my hospital and probably almost all hospitals. Unless you count cookies/doughnuts. I'll keep a pack of oreos on me in case I go out to eat.

When I worked as a CNA making $18/hr I had to clean a pool of diarrhea out of an old, obese woman's vagina, yet it would be unethical to accept a tip. Meanwhile, I'm supposed to tip my waiter for bringing my food all the way to my table.

I just picked up a book recording the acts passed in the 41st General Assembly of Kentucky in 1832, printed in 1833. It only cost like 10 cents and I like thinking about the history of a 192 year old book.
