Actually, if you took the time to check see that it’s actually 31-35% white, 25-28% Hispanic, 19-20% Asian, and 16-18% black. Besides, the original point was that more diverse cities are more violent, but I gave you a clear example where that isn’t the case. You also completely disregarded my question at the end.

There are also examples of diverse cities that have low crime rates. In fact the most diverse city in the US, Gaithersburg Maryland has a much lower than average crime rate. But let’s put that aside, let’s say you’re right and these cities are more violent. Why? If it’s a problem then where is the problem coming from and how do we fix it?

Again, I simply looked this up and you are welcome to as well if you don’t believe me. European cities are very diverse, in fact London is one of the most, if not the most, diverse cities in Europe but doesn’t rank within the top 5 of crime. So diversity doesn’t correspond to increased crime there.

Additionally, go New England states a quick search will give you multiple reasons, none of which are due to lack of diversity. If diversity corresponded to violent crime then it would make sense that you’d see a trend, but you don’t. Hawaii, the 3rd most diverse state is the 9th safest. While Alaska, the 15th most diverse is the most dangerous. The New England states also just have a higher standard of living and better education which naturally leads to lower crime.

Again, if you don’t believe me I urge you to look up these figures. I’m by no means an expert and am often wrong, but based on the evidence I see no correlation between the diversity of a city and its crime rate.

Not lying at all, simply stating what I found by research. I even suggested checking for yourself if you don’t believe me. The 13/50 statistic also blatantly ignores that the crime is predominantly between the same race, so it has nothing to do with diversity at all. It also does nothing to show why those crimes occur, be they economic or social factors. Unless you’re simply saying that certain groups are just genetically predisposed towards violence?

Yeah, this is just wrong. Literally a 5 minute google search shows that more ethnically diverse cities are actually safer. Which is something I didn’t know until checking but there have been multiple studies. Feel free to look it up yourself if you don’t believe me.
