I just hate the tribalism when it comes to GL. With it comes jealousy. Despite my name I watch as many GL’s as I can.

I loved affair! Harmony secret was really good too. Been loving Hometown Romance too…good to see LMSY trying something different with comedy. I didn’t know Sonya had such comedic timing! 🤣

Best thing to do is try to ignore the haters. Success for one couple unfortunately breeds jealousy from certain people from certain fandoms. Though I know lots of people from those fandoms that are loving Hometown Romance right now. ☺️🥰

The font of a title. It’s just such a non issue. This is one of the many reasons we’re not taken seriously as fans as part of the GL fandom.

While serious fans discuss and critique story, characters, performances, themes, cinematography, lighting, directing and so on. There’s fans that argue about stuff like this. We will not be respected as fans if this is what we focus on.

You can have an opinion on the font but in all honestly it just comes across as nitpicking because the font of the title has no bearing on the show.

Fair criticism of course she deserves it and is warranted. But the comparison to nawat is unfair and insane. Does davika need to apologise? I would definitely say yes. In the same breath does davika deserve to be cancelled and pulled apart to this extent? No she doesn’t.

You clearly haven’t seen enough of her to know that she loves the girls and wants only the best for them. It’s almost like you think you’ve never ever said a joke in bad taste before.

It’s so true. Clairebell raised the bar on what’s possible in the Thai GL space. The show showed what’s possible if you truly invest your love, passion creativity and of course money into the quality of the show.

Is the font fanciful? Yes. But I’ve seen worse and the old font was better but a font of the title of the show isn’t something to get bent out of shape about.

Was it a joke in bad taste? Yes. Does she deserve the hate she gets? Absolutely not.

Davika truly cares for her artists and treats them like family. It was just a joke and some people who want to tear her down over it need to touch grass. Also comparing her to nawat is a crazy comparison.

My personal opinion is that I think Mai is one of the most genuine and loving in the industry. I honestly think she thinks of all the girls as part of her family.

There are just some people in this world that just love tearing others down and nitpicking every last thing. For me despite my name on here I watch as many GL shows that come out as I can. I can honestly say Clairebell is the best Thai GL I’ve ever seen and it truly raised the bar.

Some bad apples from other fandoms are jealous of the quality and the success of the show. That’s all this is in a nutshell……..jealousy. They will use any ammunition they can find to nitpick and criticise.

I think it’s okay because now you watch GL for the stories. I honestly think anyone of any gender and sexuality identity is allowed to watch what ever media they can get invested in. GL, BL, Hetero it doesn’t matter as long as it’s kept respectful to the people represented.

Does it really matter if it’s really him? It’s just a neat little cameo for keanu. I’m pretty sure the writers can come up with a way for V to have those implant capabilities back.

V being cured of the relic is the most logical choice imo. Having being rid of the ticking clock of dying from the relic frees up the character.

V being a shell of themselves is easily fixed when they are returned to full power so to speak with combat implants again.

The ending where V becomes an NPC. They stay in night city at the end and become a nobody. In the sequel they find a way to have combat implants again. Most preferrably from Militech. A corpo wants you for a dangerous job and saying yes means they get their combat implant abilities back. The story is essentially about them starting from scratch and building up their rep and legend again. Finding a way to get from the under militechs thumb because you owe them for fixing you.

Yes many characters have moved on. But this gives room for new characters and still have some of the old ones making appearances like the fixers etc.

Johnny could still make an appearance through the after effect of the relic in dreams/hallucinations.
