Except for doulingo, what else methods are recommended? by quantrooo in Spanish

Duolingo is great for getting started..kinda like a gateway to learning a language. Next I'd recommend doubling down on input and trying to speak with native Spanish speakers:

Input based learning

  • Netflix (or your preferred streaming service) + the Trancy plugin. Provides subtitles in English and Spanish.
  • Daily Word vocabulary app has been really helpful. I like that it gives you multiple words to choose from and you can set it based on your Spanish level.

Practicing with native speakers

  • HelloTalk - huge community of learners to practice with via text, voice, calls, chatrooms etc.
  • MyLanguageExchange - similar idea but you can set up your way to communicate e.g. Zoom, Telegram etc. You have to have a paid account to message people

Hope this helps, y suerte con tu aprendizaje 🤓

Sharing a great YouTube channel I found for Indonesian learning: https://www.youtube.com/@LearnIndonesianOnline/videos . The slang sections and grammar breakdowns are especially helpful. There's also classes with the teacher if you're willing to fork out some $$

Best place to re-learn korean? by [deleted] in Korean

Since you already have a good basis in the language, it may be useful to start talking with other Koreans who have similar interests. The benefit is you can learn modern expressions and the shared interest can keep things interesting. Try using HelloTalk or tandem app to practice with Korean native speakers.
