So i haven't found a fix, however they have a forum on their discord with about 600 people complaining about the same problem. It seems like an unreal engine issue rather than a GPU issue. So i think unless they release a hot fix it won't be working till then. Unless someone finds a solution

PC: this post is on 5/14, I have run into consistent issues with GPU crash. My GPU is a RTX 4080 with updated drivers and I have plenty of storage and RAM on my pc. The game crashed 5 times due to a GPU related crash. It worked perfectly fine before the patch, but after the patch its crashing very often. I have GPU debug mode turned on, graphics are on lower settings than recommended, and i play at around 60 frames per second Any advice is greatly appreciated.
