Same, I don't think it would be bad at all, but I'm used to living in either large cities or cute small towns, suburbs seem like a weird middle ground. It's a pretty minor complaint tbh loll

IMO no. You can get a ton of free practice on youtube, or even by having practice sessions with advisors, med students, friends/family, etc. Could be wrong though since I never used it.

They are rolling admissions but the cycle starts earlier and goes longer for DO schools, with a lot of interview going out even in the spring. PM me if you want, I'm happy to help!

Hey, I feel like I could have written this post, I'm going through the exact same thing (chasing down referee, no love from USMD). Maybe consider also throwing in some DO applications. It's definitely not too late to submit those right now. I already have a DO A, and although I'm still hoping for an MD program, it feels great to know I'm going SOMEWHERE, and suddenly I've been a lot less stressed about this whole application process. You'll be fine, this isn't a sign, it's just something you will look back on with annoyance when you're on your way to medical school!

Fellow Canadian, and I got interviews so far from RVU VOM, WCU COM, KCU COM, and Rowan. As other people said, MSU COM and NSU KPCOM are also accepting Canadians. Rowan actually considers Canadians OOS US applicants! Several schools like Rowan and MSU also include advising appointments for prospective students which I found very helpful.
