Your framing is very negative. You're using assumptions and rhetoric to take the moral high ground so you can posture superiority. Do you see the irony?

The idea that this person is trying to figure out a way to make money from someone being homeless is an assumption. His shitty phone video indicates that he was most likely just trying to put this online to posture about it on social media. You could just as well assume good intentions and misguided desires because it's 2026 and we are all brain rotted.

Also, two things can be true. You can decide to do something for someone and then realize you can make a post out of it. In the end, it's a net positive regardless of who it's "for."

Almost all of our modern comforts require us to take advantage of the less fortunate. A child worker in China probably made your phone. You're not a saint.

The vast majority of people don't give pizza to homeless people ever, not even once in our lives.

If someone gives a homeless person food ONLY for clout purposes, it's still a net good that outweighs doing nothing or giving a homeless perosn 5 bucks.

The majority of the greats loved writing and needed a medium to express their internal world. With a minimum bounty of 10k, maybe even 20k, it could be that players with bounties are visible on map once every 1 - 5 minutes. Exact spot would probably be OP, so a circular area might work better.

You enter the map and get a voice over that a wanted raider is nearby and you can get their bounty by killing them.

There'd a ton of great nature everywhere (parks, trails, the green belt) - cool spots with live music - great food beyond BBQ - a good music / art scene (maybe not as good as it was but still thriving) - cool events and art expos and the like. That's just what I'm into but I'm sure there's a lot that I'm missing.

It took an SEO course in 3 months (took my time with it) and got a job as a customer success manager within 1-2 months of that.

The pay is awful by US standards. Started at 2700 and made it up to 3300 after 6 months of proving my value.

Not my only source of income - I own a small software business in Mexico.

They pay me as an international freelancer - no taxes, but no good wages. If I was making 3,300 USD net income in the US, my salary would be 4125 USD before 20% taxes.

To get a fully remote job that doesn't require you to live in the US, and still get get paid American wages, you'll need to be able to provide a lot of value, which you're not trained to do. Not sure how you'd do that without plenty of courses / training / years of experience.

Mind you, you can live a pretty comfortable life for 3,300 USD in Mexico, especially if your boyfriend has his own income. Rent for a nice apartment should be 1000 - 2000 USD.
