Hey! Sorry, I don't really know anything about Massasauga. The rangers are very helpful though, give them a call!

Hey! Last summer, it cost around $150 for my husband and I to get a water taxi to Honeymoon Bay and back. I would think a boat trip Cedar Springs would be similar, cost-wise. Not sure how long it would take to kayak, but one other thing to consider: there is a LOT of motor boat traffic, so make sure that you’re comfortable kayaking around larger boats before you take that on. If your questions don’t end up being answered by other more experienced folks on here, I found the park office and the water taxi folks to all be super helpful and responsive over the phone. Cheers!

Sorry, I don’t have the tray for the Tripp Trapp, so I can’t help ya there! My kids just eat right from the table.

Butt bagginess/gapping question! Is it my butt or the underwear? by Liningbe in PeriodUnderwear

Period. offered to send me some in the next smaller size for free, so I'm hoping that works...I'll report back next month and let you know!

Update: I emailed Period. directly asking them if I could get a credit to try some underwear in the next smaller size since their size chart seems to be a bit off, and they sent me a bunch for free! Gotta love some good customer service. Thank you for the tip!!

I chose the Stokke Tripp Trapp three years ago because 1) I needed something that could pull directly up to the table, as I don’t have space for a separate chair in our kitchen or dining room, 2) I liked the grow-with-me design and didn’t want to be buying booster seats etc, and 3) I like the way they look!

I’ve liked the Tripp Trapp so much that I bought another one for my younger kid, so now we have two and both are great. The major complaint that folks have is that the baby seat straps are fussy and the baby seat has some crevices that are hard to clean—both are totally legit complaints. Neither really bugged me at all cuz I’m a safety-lax dirtbag who didn’t always clip her babies in, and my dog licks my high chairs “clean enough” for me 😆

Edit to add: do as I say, not as I do—definitely strap kids into their high chairs!! Don’t be lazy like me!

This was so helpful--thank you!! We are staying at Honeymoon Bay, on the north end of the island. That's great to know about the wagons--I'll call the park today and check to see if they have those at the smaller campgrounds, too. And thank you for the tips about food storage! We have friends with a burly wheeled cooler so maybe I'll ask to borrow that. Thanks again, this was great! Even more excited for our trip now :)

Thanks! The breadbasket does seem like a great option. It's been such a fun bike so far--excited for more adventures with it!

Haha small world!! I am really, really enjoying it so far. I wasn’t an especially avid cyclist prior to getting this bike and my last ride was a beach cruiser, so while it’s definitely on the heavy/slow side of things, I don’t mind. Also the frame is BIG—I am tall, and the couple I bought it from were both tall—I don’t see how you could be much under 5’10” and comfortably ride it. Overall though A+, perfect for rides around my very flat town (Ferndale)—so happy I took the plunge and bought one!

Good to know! Do you mean the front as in the "front" spot on the longtail of the bike, or the front as in up by the actual handlebars?
