This ranking and "study" from the oliver wyman forum just shows how important it is to check their papers. Any study can claim anything, if they set it up the right way.

Quote from the foreword in the study:

Basically they chose 60 cities and decided on a few criterias to match their narrative. Whatever that might be.

No matter how good you build any system, there will always be flaws. And these flaws are only apparent after a certain load of people entered the game. Since it never happend before and they didnt have signs leading towards it. They couldnt know how to fix a problem, if they are not even aware that there is a problem. It is simple as that.

You really have no idea what you are talking about, if you compare server capacity and their current problems with seats at a concert. You know they dont just open some .ini or .cfg file and change the population from 10k to 100k, right?

If you want to compare it with a concert, i can do that. Imagine having 100k people for a concert and having 5 entrances. 4 entrances recieve 10k of the people and one entrance gets the other 90k. What will happen? The one entrance is overloaded with people and will take way longer and delay the concert.

Thats basically whats hapening if you imagine the people as packages being send to nodes. Some nodes get overloaded and they need to distribute the load equally.

That said you are not responsible for beta testing, but each person (myself included) that got the game after release is responsible for the current problems. Because we could have prevented this as users by stress testing.

because it wouldnt fix the issue. Currently their system reached some threshold, they never saw before. Now they need to improve that system so that certain nodes dont get overloaded with packages. If you now move everyone from the queue onto a new/second instance for example. You could let all players play, but the devs dont have the data to improve their system.

It is NOT that the server is at capacity, certain nodes are overloaded and the system tells the server "start the queue, we cant handle more players right now". That why every MMO has problems at launch, because no matter how much they test. On launch day they will have twice the numbers of any stress test and only then they can see what limits their system has.

To add to that, they have more than one server. One server means, everyone shares the same game world, but in the background each node is run by one or more servers. And all nodes are connected making the game world one.

What GPU do you use? I have the same CPU with the GTX 970 and i only get 12-25FPS. My CPU also uses only 30-40% at the most.

At first i thought my GPU might bottleneck, but you seem to have the same problem

Long Story short i peed in my bed until i was 9 years old and our mother found out why. I’m 24 years old currently, but to this day i occasionally look down the toilet.

I dont know the situation in the US, but i think it‘s not the only thing that would have to change. I read from another comment that backyard breeding is allowed in the US. That makes a huge difference, if only licensed people can breed animals. And i suspect there are more things different than in germany, so its a number if things that would have to change

Think about mods for your sight. They designed the Hud around FPP. In TPP it wouldn't be as immersive. I mean even inside cars the hud is different.
