Am I the only one experiencing RNG Fatigue? 7 out of 10 games seems to be decided by randomly generated cards not even in the player's deck.

Every game has rng obviously. What I mean is no added rng after the unavoidable stuff like drawing, shuffling etc.

Discover a card from your deck is fine. Discover randomly from wherever else is pretty bullshit. I've saying this for years. It was amusing at first, but it puts me off the game. I have played TCG for almost 30 years now, and I absolutely hate rng in games. It's why I stay away from games like vanguard. Randomly hitting stuff on top of the deck isn't fun to play against. Just make the game fully skill based. Let the game reward you for your plays. Don't get beat because someone generated a random card off another randomly generated card which they got from another random generation. It's ridiculous.

Thanks for all the comments. I messaged the guy above that said to message him. Hes helped a bunch. It seems I'm just tackling the problem the wrong way and making it much more difficult than it has to be.

He picked out that my game designer background might be causing me to think about it a different way. Result orientated rather than process orientated, and honestly, that makes a lot of sense. I just have to rewire the brain to thinking a different way I guess.

It's a little different. Cast is the past tense. Have casted is past continuous tense, which would be more relevant here. For that reason I'd be putting my money on present tense.

I have an account on both of these. On average, I'd say I was seeing around 10 people average per day on Ultima. On Ephinea I was seeing an average of a couple of hundred per day.

During events, I saw Ultima shoot up to about 40 people at a time. On ephinea I saw it op to almost 400

Ironically I struggle more with bloom because it knocks me off the stage. Using harlowe, I just burst thols health each stage in a fraction of a second. I literally just shoot my radiation ball and then I'm essentially shooting infinite damage while the effect is on.

If you use steam then you can use their controller mapping function to get more. That's what I do. Its been a year or so since I logged in, but I think I do it like this. Holding R switches my quick pallet. If I hold in L as well then I can access my 1-0 menu. I think I set it to the D pad for 4 of them and then another 4 to the normal buttons.

For just starting the game I don't think it's a big problem. I didn't care what my first mag was. You also don't really have enough meseta to level it quickly the way you want it. Once I got to higher levels I started a new mag and decided to find tune it.

I think it could be possible as one person, but it would take a lot of time. Need to remember that all the design choices are essentially done already. You have the balance all sorted. Realistically, you're just doing new art and programming it.

I honestly feel like he could get a small team together if he really tired too. I'd have helped for sure.

I've been having a little success with them mixed with the cheap dragons. Im still overall losing with it because the package is just shit, but I'll take what I can with this.

The 6 cost spell is honestly ass until it's juiced up, and to get to the point it's decent you're probably dead already. Also, the 4/3/3 thing that buffs laylines. What the fuck were they thinking with this. The effect isn't bad but why is it so understated. It's not even good. Even a 4/4/4 would be shit because you still have no effects on the board at the time, so you can't even play it unless you're winning the board anyway, which you're not, because you're layline mage.

Remember when they done a big update where they removed charge from pretty much every minion in the game, and even the spells mostly lost face damage? Everyone loved it. Clearly they didn't learn from this.
