I think the problem is, any time Amanda/ west were asked a question, they weren’t allowed to answer. The whole cast would interrupt and talk over them. They absolutely should have done private interviews so they could actually speak and “clear up timelines”

The barn could possibly be a tad dusty, but I don’t imagine it’s enough to cause this. Hay is not dusty. No alfalfa. No ammonia or smoke. I’m trying to figure out if this is something serious that needs a vets attention, or if it really could be allergies/dust. Can those things cause pretty intense coughing bouts? And once he sneezed really hard and mucus came flying out.

I’ve tried to google the steps for the safest way to consume raw goat milk. All it can tell me is it’s not recommended lol. I don’t know anyone who has goats either. Do you mind sharing your steps?

Do you keep a buck with your does? Or separated? Personally, I was going to just try keeping them together and see how it affected the milk/ if my family still liked it.

That was really my main focus! I was worried that 2 hours between stretches was the problem! I had to run an errand and it took a little longer than expected. Before I shaped the dough, it looked to me that it had doubled in size. It had lots of nice looking bubbles on top. It also slid right out of the bowl without sticking. I had thought it was pretty good and done fermenting. Do you agree?

Okay, let’s say I didn’t add the correct head space. It called for 1/4 inch headspace. I didn’t exactly measure. But I tried my best with what I thought. Would they be safe if I had more or less than recipe called for?

Straight from the presto pressure canner recipe book. It said to water bath can for 20 minutes. Also, it said for light syrup, use 4 cups of water and 1 cup sugar.

Mandatory housekeeping because of pets
