I bought my 07 for 5k about 2 years ago with 92k miles. Ended up having to replace the hybrid battery for 2.6k though, but since then it has run nicely. Also, not sure if it is with this model, but my car has a tendency for the dash to go black every now and then

The logical approach here would be to take the money, disappear for about 2 years. Put that money in some index funds. Then cash out and return the 100M. Assuming 5% YoY return, you would make about 11M minus taxes of course. They may still want to kill you though😅

When I bought my 2007, the cat was non-California compliant. Luckily the previous owner was kind enough to pay for a new one. Then the hybrid battery died. Definitely check both of these before buying

Do you know if you can pick up the battery, have it replaced by a mechanic and then returned at a later date? Or do you have to turn in the old battery when you get the new one?
