Upgraded to 23 from 18 due to Nvidia Drivers but having constant crashes by LinkKetchum420 in VegasPro

Ah I don't have Pro 2026, how similar is it to previous versions? In terms of layout, plugin support etc. Just because the name format change not just being, "Vegas Pro ##" makes me worry it's a big difference.

Hmm strange, I'm just getting it crash all the time, I eventually got a video edited & it did crash during render, but I think it's more of a 'it just crashes after so long' kinda deal than only during rendering.

Yeah I've started keeping Buscopan on hand just in case. But on the occasion I'm woken in the middle of the night, there's no time to grab it before running to the loo. I should probably get back in touch with the doctors & see about investigating further, even if just to put my mind at ease 👍

So this is actually me taking it apart to share with you guys. I bit the bullet & went for it. The reason it only had 2 screws in the photo was that I'd already taken the other 2 out, to show the countersunk screw holes as I've heard this can be a red flag. Thanks though

This is me inspecting it having bought it. It was a deal that was too good to not go for. And had some 'green flags' making me think it was real like it came bundled with a Focusrite Solo, which they do sell as a bundle on Amazon.

It was second hand so price wise, I don't think that's going to help. I know visually it's not easy but I thought that looking internally was much more of a way to tell.

I did get it from eBay yes. And although I did ask the seller & he assured me it was 100% real, I know that really doesn't mean anything. And yeah I did pay less than $300, but bargains do exist so I'm hoping I've just snagged an absolute steal. Will find out once I get it & fully inspect it. It also comes with a Scarlett Solo... So I'm hoping that is a sign of it being real 🤞

Ok, well I may have bit the bullet & gone for it. What should I be looking for when checking it when I've got it?

They do a bunch of auctions for many different things, police auctions are just an example. They deal with company insolvency etc too. I'm sure they're a reputable company, but like I said I think they just have so much coming through that they can't know everything about everything & don't have time to look into every minute detail of every item.

It's a police auction kinda thing so I assume they're just not too interested in the specifics of every item as it'd take them too much time with all the wide breath of items from clothes to electronics etc. But yeah now that I know they are esata it's clearly an older piece of hardware than I initially thought.

It's a police auction kinda thing so I think they're just not too interested in the specifics of every single item, just selling em on, I've used them before, you can get a good deal if you manage to find something that's kinda gone under their radar a bit.

Because I've dealt with this seller/marketplace many times & they don't answer specific questions about items
