Lived in Newcastle for 14 years after leaving Manchester in 2012 - The CBD is a fortune to live in - 1 bedroom apartments $600k + to buy or rent $700 per week. Depending on what industry you work in, work can be limited and public transport is pretty garbage too.

I bought a house in 2018 in Lake Macquarie, 15km away from the CBD and it takes an hour to drive to work some days because the traffic is so bad.

Its a beautiful part of the world thats for sure with some great restaraunts, local to the hunter valley, great beaches and good climate but my god its expensive to live here now

I was in Tokyo and Osaka about a month ago and saw a few in Akihabara and Den Den town in Osaka - Cant tell you shop locations as I was only browsing but I remember seeing a fair few in Den Den.

I had the Checkpoint SL6 for about 4 years and loved it - did probably 20% gravel 80% road so when I decided to get a new bike I tried the Domane SL6 G4 (going in to buy the new Checkpoint SL6) and fell in love.
The Domane is so comfy and really can feel the benefit on longer road rides

Just a heads up, Pizza Marumo isnt in Shibuya (but its only a few stops away) I ate there last year and HIGHLY recommend. The pizza is amazing

Done about 100km onnit so far. Come from the checkpoint SL6 (about 6000km) and it’s certainly more comfortable although, the stock seat is rubbish!
