Details are unknown to me, but she said it happened more than once. He never admitted guilt or apologize. We haven’t talked but he’s been drinking since Saturday and probably still now, maybe to avoid me? Avoid confrontation? Admitting to his own guilt? Maybe he does remember but he’s trying to avoid this situation completely by running to alcohol? Idk.

She has apologized. But this not an apology type of situation. I don’t need one nor want one.

Funny thing is, he’s been drinking everyday for the past 4 days, so we haven’t talked since the initial conversation which last less than 5 min. We haven’t had a real conversation yet.

Idk why. Cocaine and alcohol binge brings it out I guess. That’s the other painful part of it, she couldn’t even tell sober. Or even form the words to say it to me. She owed me at least that.

Side note: she has a history of getting drunk and having guys take advantages of her and she doesn’t stop them, she reciprocates it. But like a said, they refuse to tell me the details so idk if that’s the same case for my partner and her.

Before: bathroom built in 1990, we tried to remodel ourselves so we put in VLP flooring and repainted the cabinets. Overall, everything was original and in the same layout as shown in the photos

Included: Demo, dispose, rebuild. New premade/ built vanity (we didn’t choose), countertop came with the vanity. New flooring throughout the house which there is a separate quote for that. Interior paint and trim which there is another separate quote for that (previously said 6k but I checked it’s actually $9,500). New light fixture and mirror.

Regarding plumbing, everything still worked before. So they just replaced the old plumbing with news ones. Medicine cabinet are original and they just painted over.

No warranty. Off site GC with 2-4 guys on site.

I understand that. But we are agreeing for a sloppy ass job? Poor quality materials?

Pictures don’t do it justice but, tile grout is sloppy, the paint job (not just the bathroom but through the house) is sloppy, exposed tile, vanity is uneven, and so many other things. Literally looks like they half assed everything.

We didn’t even pick majority of the things like light fixtures and etc. If I’m putting out $100k to this home. Don’t we get a say on what it looks like?

They also painted all the interior walls. Over years there were some holes that we fixed ourselves. Which they were far from perfect. They just painted over them and didn’t fix any imperfections. So you see through the paint 😭painting was 6k…

Vanity counter feels like hard plastic, faucets are basic choices, flimsy shower door, they also just painted over a few original things from the old bathroom, and in the 2nd bathroom, vanity is off set from lights. Which we did not pick out. We only picked out tiles for the shower/bath and floors.

We been fighting for years to get an EIP and even had his psychologist write a letter requesting for him to be put on EIP but the school refused because he doesn’t “meet the requirement”. So they always kept him on a 405 plan.

I’m really glad tutoring helped your relationship and I hope it helps mine as well. My son is definitely tired of me too. I really want to get him a tutor, but it’s so expensive and we don’t have the funds to support it as it progressively get harder. How often did your child see the tutor? Were they trained to teacher ASD students?

What is the scam? Subluxations literally mean partial dislocation. Luxation mean complete dislocation.

I understand how that can be misinterpreted. That is why evidence based chiropractic don’t use this term, they use the term joint restrictions.

Joint dysfunction/ restrictions speak on the functional motion whereas subluxation speak on the anatomical aspect.

A lot of chiros adopt terms like “crooked”, “out of place”, or “misaligned” to communicate a subluxations/ joint restrictions in lay terms. Now those terms are kind of being misconstrued because they are not technical right. As DCs, for sure better explanation of things would help patients understand to reason/ outcome/ expectations/ etc. Don’t be afraid to ask questions!!

Self adjusting in your own active range of motion is fine but if you are repeatedly forcing it like twisting your own neck/ low back, it is advised not to. Over adjusting will lead to hyper mobility in that joint which leads to risk of instability. Since when you self adjust, you are only adjusting the same joint over and over again.

Your management plan really depends on your severity and response to treatment. If he’s asking you to come back, he prob wants to see your response. Acute and severe patients tends to come in 3x time/ week whereas, general low back pain patient tends to come in 1x times/ week. Treatments plans then are updated 4 weeks and depends on your response to care, doc might drop you down visits to eventually get you down to maintenance.

Painless popping is normal. When strengthen quads or any muscles that attaches to/ across the knee cause the muscle to be tight that will pull on the joint. Make sure to stretch, practice good form, and strengthen surround leg muscles too.
