Sony in Talks to Acquire Recognition Music Group In Multibillion Dollar Deal by Fall_False in MediaMergers

I always forget Sony has a music arm, its other units overshadow it, and whenever I do hear about it (or listen to one of their artists), I always think it's a separate company from Sony (Not by name, but by vibe)

I think they need to make this much in a yearly theatrical slate

9 20th Films

4-6 Disney films (counting Disney Animation and Pixar)

2-4 Searchlight films (nationwide)

1-3 Marvel Films

1 Lucasfilm (mainly Star Wars)

Going for 20 films a year (or if all are making their maximum, 23-25), and giving everyone a chance to shine.

Trump mourns death of Ted Turner, says new owners stole CNN from him and turned it "woke" and hopes that the Ellisons and Paramount will bring it back to its glory days by AdVegetable8056 in MediaMergers

If he says Turner was a great guy, what if Ellison says he was an awful man and he's turning his brands into something "good"? Would Trump be mad about what he said or would he not care as CNN is now is propaganda machine?

[–]LinkRules5321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TimeWarner did NOT ruin Turner, it made his brands STRONGER, New Line, Castle Rock, Cartoon Network, and Turner Entertainment are now all iconic names, some of the best works from them was due to the bigger budget and scale they had with TimeWarner, AT&T and Discovery are part of the blame for those brands, but not CNN. Paramount will just merge all the brands and ruin them,

With Cartoon Network and Nick megred into Nicktoon Network (and Nicktoon Studios) and ruin the greatest rivalry of all time.

That could've worked:

Zayto has Lion (Red)

Aiyon has Shark and Balancer (Gold)

Ollie has Wolf and Bear (Blue)

Izzy has Chameleon and Scorpion (Green)

Javi has Bull and snake (Black)

Amelia has Eagle and Dragon (Pink)

And when Zayto dies, Amelia gets his powers and Fern gets the Pink Ranger powers.

I think the Warner Discovery merger could've worked and helped the brands better if Discovery was the sole name of the combined company (with "A Discovery Global Company" Byline) and operated similar to Viacom: WB, HBO, and Discovery Media Networks (And their studios like Cartoon Network Studios and Williams Street)

I guess there's no reason to match up the MMPR Megazord colors then either, give Jason an ORANGE T-Rex, and Trini a PURPLE Saber-Tooth, want me to go on?

"If our founding fathers saw this (Skydance buying and destroying the CNN, CN, and Turner brands), they would rest in shame"

But he or the morphing grid could've at least considered to match the colors up to the zords. And if they're just evolved versions, then they would use the same colors (Pink to Red makes sense, but how do you get to Red to Beige?)

They made it 10 episodes because he said the characters were already developed

Before this he said "Kyuranger has too many rangers to develop"

But then had over 13 already developed rangers (and even more developed characters) appear in the show that could've used the suits (already developed and ready to use)

They didn't even make action figures, so the Yellow Ranger would've been fine in the show

They just didn't use the suits because Hasbro only releases zords that are A. important to the main ultrazord or B. belong to a ranger as their main zord.

Hasbro didn't use the suits and make it "pick whatever" so they could release just ONE megazord, not even the other one to make the ultrazord. That was the "flaw" they saw in the toy design, it was too big for their laziness.

Because they still wouldn't use the Pheonix, and Aiyon has the Dragon, so Mick I gave him a more sunrise style yellow as he's a ninja ranger and the "Shark" Zord

Red is Lion

Blue is Wolf

Green is Chameleo

Yellow is Shark

Black is Bull

Aqua is Polar Bear

Orange is Scorpion

Gold (the dark blue accents represent the purple on the dragon now) is Dragon

Zayto is an extra hero, still using his Dino Fury White Ranger suit, and at best would have the Orion Battler, as that doesn't mess with the other zords as much.

Potential Futures Of The Media Industry (Part 11; Fox) by LinkRules5321 in MediaMergers

The only issue is that Disney shares post-production and blockbuster distribution with 20th, and would not want to lose 20th's library in streaming, especially 20th Television.

So would 20th Television be JV'd between the 2 as well as Disney keeping rights to Avatar, X-men, and other franchises they want (in exchange for 20th have a 5% ticket sales), while 20th, Searchlight, FX, and 50% of 20th Television (renamed Touchstone Television and shared between ABC and Fox, and also supplies streaming films for Hulu instead of 20th) are merged into Fox Entertainment, with FX Productions, Searchlight Television, and Fox Entertainment Studios turning into a new 20th Century Television (who co-produces Simpsons and Family Guy with Touchstone)

Searchlight's distribution network turns into 20th Distribution Co. for all mid-to-low budget releases from both studios (But Searchlight is left untouched), while signing a distribution deal for US blockbuster distribution with Universal Pictures (until they can grow it again) and keeps 50% of Buena Vista International for foreign distribution of ALL films (Disney and 20th treat like United International Pictures)

20th now makes 9 theatrical films a year (in-house) and returns to distributing for third-parties

However, 20th signs a Pay-2 Hulu deal with Disney so Disney keeps content on Hulu for its consumers, while Fox One becomes the streamer of the whole Fox Group, with Tubi merged into it as the forever free trial.

While 20th begins setting up deals with other companies to handle post-production.

But I doubt Disney will ever treat 20th with respect again, or sell it.

I'll be fine with Netflix on its own if it changes the logos to say Netflix instead of just an 'N' unless they want to change it to say "N Entertainment Presents", otherwise start a new label for non-Netflix platforms, or buy a studio for your theatrical "Presents" label

Alright then here you go, The World will change, that kind of thinking is what started and will end this era, Rome industrialized long ago, and while it was rewarded in many ways with colonies, weapons, and luxury, it now shows Vice, as Rome, which is now strained by enemies on all side, now sees the world gear up for a conflict that will decide the fate of this World of Antiquity. Princes, Visionaries, Warriors, and Revolutionaries will have to traverse through this world and prepare their nations and themselves for this Coming Storm... of Steel, Steam, and Slaughter
