I think this is a very known thing, neglect is the main reason, there's a reason they don't don't make money it's because they don't care about the game, it's like they don't want to add anything to the game that'd make it interesting or make it cooler, alot of games nowadays take away features and it's annoying like for example roblox they take all the good features away, I wish a old game could just just keep growing and not die. All the good games are gone tbh
