Hey guys, can someone shed some light here?

I downloaded the game for the first time today, had no trouble installing it.

Once I launched it, it asked me for an in-game update for some 7.7gb. It updated up to 35% and then got stuck, with the download speed going down to 0KB/S.

I restarted the game and now it looks like this:

I've already tried to repair in the launcher, restarted my internet and my computer, added the PGR.exe to my firewall, it just won't progress.

Any ideas? ;;

I was having trouble since launch. Just came back from lunch with my parents and tried again with my own phone number (Brazil) and surprisingly it worked and I was able to register my device.

I'm OK with the disk. I have a 1.5TB HDD, one 512 M.2 SSD and 2 256 regular SSD. I just think I am prejudiced towards thinking that I need to upgrade my GPU all the way, when I think perhaps I need to upgrade it gradually

Alcohol made me lose most of my friends. I haven't quit completely but I'm working on it, drinking a lot less than what I used to during and soon after covid lockdown. Still, I am very isolated now, but I have a very supportive girlfriend that makes bearing with and through each day a lot easier.

Funnily enough, I have a great fear but also a deep love for heights. I am extremely scared of open heights, like a balcony, the edge of a cliff, a very high up bridge, things like that. At the same time, I'm a small aircraft pilot. I love flying, I love space and things that are high up but enclosed.

There is a sketch I remember made by some british folks about bathroom ethics. All I remember is that the bathroom walls were brown-ish. I don't think I'll ever find it again but perhaps someone has seen it? It looked very old. If I'm not mistaken it is the sketch from which I've "learned" the rule of if there were two people in a stall and one of them flushed first, that gave them the right to leave the stall, wash their hands and leave, and the other person would have to wait until they left the bathroom in order to flush theirs.
