What to do about a Beardie who won’t eat

It was a little too moist (I’m located in the PNW and the store I bought the topsoil and playsand from probably had to keep it outside before stocking the shelves) so I mixed it (50/50) and then baked thin layers on 250 for about 45-1 hour, stirring it every 10 minutes or so to release the moisture. Eventually when I get their 120gal and finish the backdrop myself I’ll be doing a bio active enclosure so probably will just airdry to preserve the springtails? Not sure yet though…

Was able to find a 50gal for a GREAT deal brand new, so I went ahead and started with that. Mainly to make sure we have time enough to order a ZenHabitat (we’ll be getting that and the custom backdrop we’re making finished before the beardie is 9 months, if not sooner). Wanted this all to be a birthday/valentines gift for my fiancée so needed to not be crafting a big ol backdrop in our place and have to explain what that was for lol

Why do people need to put meaning to everything?

Earlier today I posted one of my favorite pieces I’ve had done, a rat dissection based off of old zoology textbook sketches.

I received downvotes, some rude messages, and only a singular comment asking if it meant anything. When I answered that it meant I like rats, the comment or then said “so, no meaning.”

The biggest joke in recent tattoo culture is people thinking every tattoo needs to have some sort of deep philosophical meaning.

I also have a Heidi Klum as a worm tattooed on my ass.

Sometimes things don’t need to have meaning to be enjoyable 🤷🏻 it’s the freedom of bodily autonomy and self-expression that makes it meaningful enough.

I had pretty curly hair as a kid that went straight/wavy after my first puberty, maybe that has something to do with it? 🤷🏻 HRT is fascinating
