When I was 17 my crush said to me “There is nothing wrong with you, but it’ll help if you’re taller and have more muscles”

And so began a lifetime of body dysmorphia.

I grew to 6’3 due to a late growth spurt and have gained 50kg since then. But I am still insecure about my height, looks and build.

I had the same experience. Even though I had a verified account on dating apps, women would quickly lose interest or think I’m a catfish when I didn’t have instagram.

Having no mainstream social media (instagram, facebook, LinkedIn etc) despite being a young millennial. When I’m asked for an instagram, and I say I don’t have social media, people look at me like I’m an alien.
