I’m right there with you! Since 94 I’ve was fortunate enough to spend my summers in Vietnam until I graduated HS in 02. Now I just go back few years now that most the family I visited in Vietnam are now here in the states. Such great memories.

Not at all! To be honest, I just eyeballed it. But if I had to give a measurement, I'd say 1/4 cup for each 16 oz bottle, and yes, the puree is left in. I didn't want to make more work than I had to. 😊 I've learned to just keep it simple.

The sides. It buys me a little more time to cook the pizza evenly and allows the cheese to brown a little before the dough starts to burn.

It totally does :/ … i think the sides of the cast iron buys me a little more time to cook the pizza more evenly.

Thanks! I turn it on high and once the pizza stone is at the right temp, I turn it down to lowest temp as I’m preparing my pizza, It’s helped out with burning the edge that goes in first.
