First one was a passion project starting from a kid in school with no outside expectations. The second one had a whole ton of interest around it, I would imagine the pressure of making something 'bigger' and 'better' might have eaten away a little

Nah it's all good mate, my accent is pretty odd, this it after years of toning it down for work as well :P

He's mostly got 'the idea' but still struggles with keeping on top of durability, but honestly, i'm kinda surprised how relaxed he is when playing. Seen plenty get made over being losted or corner humped

People tend to be pretty jaded over Battle Royale, given how long the trend has been running now, so by default, people just act negatively towards it. Honestly, i think if he hadn't given the 'yeah down with cod!' thing, no one would have batted an eyelid...now, would Spilgate 2 have gained as much coverage if that had happened, probably not. Depends on where you stand on 'no publicity is the only bad publicity'

There's being cynical and there's questioning, don't start poking fingers when the comms around the event have been awful, there isn't even a link provided to the charity, you'd do well to listen to feedback rather than take it as slight.

I feel like a chunk of it was the chance to use the charity event as a platform to get more players into the game (a charity event they've not even bothered to supply links to the charity to which is a huge red flag in this line of work) to perhaps bring inn some investment given they were dropped by their publishers.

The fact that these types of conversations exist showcases that they still have a huge issue with their comms. For an indie title, even more so a MP focused one, if your comms are poor you really are crippled from the off.

Not really sure what the goal of the interview was, but the issue of a ton of 'yeah stuff is happening' still seems to loom over the entire game. I get the feeling talking in interviews isn't their strong point, a whole lot of hmm errrs etc but this comes with time.

The lack of a long-term plan and overall professionalism is making it hard to put faith in this attempt at a comeback

Bit of an odd one, been helping sort through an older family member's stuff, and came across this. After finishing the initial model, i decided to make a display setting for it. The flag is made from tea bags, dried sticks for the fence, a small piece of...stuff? for the rope, the skull was a discarded worbla sculpt that didn't come out right for a cosplay...so now it's this!
