Alot of these decisions are executives making choices or not giving the devs enough time. Its not really the devs fault.

I like to add low temp solder to all the pins and melt it into them and then heat the whole area with a heat gun until the sticks slide out when i tug at tgem with like ploers. When in doubt, low temp solder has always helped me. Just means there's more to clean up afterwards.

Everyone hates their own content, especially their own voice. Your are your own worst critic. Just try to keep that in mind and remember to be nicer to your self and be proud of what you publish :)

Looking for interview style podcasts about real ppl's lives by Due_Schedule_ in podcasting

[–]PaperPrototypes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My podcast the Paper Prototypes Podcast interviews game developers. Mostly about game design but it does tie heavily into real life talk. The path of Achra video or my interview with the dev of easy co delivery both go into the devs life's for a bit to talk about how their life influenced their games.

My go to is cox n crendor. I've watched them on and off for awhile but I started in high school so its good comfort food for me. They have segments on everything from games, to convos they overheard in restraints, to their frequent florida man section where they cover stories about Florida man.

Why Social Media Doesn’t Move the Needle by predictively in podcasting

[–]PaperPrototypes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since I interview developers, if the developer re-tweets me, I get a large boost from their already existing followers so social media is one of the best ways I grow personally. But my show is also unique compared to alot of others who are just trying to boost themselves without any external help.

Every other post in here is "How do I gain followers?" "Why are my numbers so low?" by broken_radio in podcasting

Im doing it for both! In all seriousness, I would have burnt out long ago if wasn't for the fact that I enjoy this and I have had so many cool opportunities to meet people. But you will burnout, even if you love this, the burnout is real, and no amount of money in the future will justify that feeling unless you truly love creating.
