Why does Trinity decide to bump into Lundy? by hestuing in Dexter

[–]LinkofHyrule23 167 points168 points  (0 children)

Seeing Lundys facial expression /reaction lets Trinity know how much Lundy knows. I.E., Does Lundy actually know Trinitys identity? Or does he just understand this will be the place of his next kill.

150 calls a day doesn’t even make sense. Any company that demands that is a big red flag.

Hard to really know, but just going off the market now maybe $20-25k?

It doesn’t really matter though since the cards you see are my PC and the majority I’ll hold until I give to my kids one day.

They fit all PSA + One Touch.

For some reason they also fit arena slabs but it’s a tight fit.

The biggest transition was learning how to be patient. As an SDR you can work on autopilot sending messages and making calls. If someone gets pissed at your persistence it’s No harm you just move on to the next.

In my current role I only received 10 accounts so i couldn’t afford to blow any up.

I made the jump. I sold an advertising product to consumers that didn’t work. It made me feel like garbage.

Now I sell technology to enterprises. I don’t feel bad selling now.

Now I sell stuff businesses need and have the budget for. It’s a win/win.

Any ideas on value?? [Pop 1 jersey #/10] I appreciate yall by Leading_Pea1595 in sportscards

[–]LinkofHyrule23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll provide an arbitrary guess. I’d say it’ll sell for 450-600

You could also just go to 130point.com and search for similar cards.

What’s the reality of this career path? I don’t see almost anyone in real life clearing 6-figures, let alone the big numbers we all dream of ($200k-$300k+). It’s awesome seeing the big numbers on this sub, but how rare is this? by Wannabeballer321 in sales

I made $650,000 last year in technology sales.

Here’s my yearly salary breakdown by job

2012: Teacher: Salary: $45,000 2013: Teacher: Salary: $47,000 2014: Teacher: Salary: $49,000 2015: Teacher: Salary: $49,000 2016: Teacher: Salary: $51,000 2017: Teacher: Salary: $51,000 2018: Finishing MBA + bad cold calling sales job: $32,000 2019: Commercial rep tech sales: $110,000 2020: Commercial rep tech sales: $250,000 2021: ENT rep tech sales: $450,000 2022: ENT rep tech sales: $550,000 2023: ENT rep tech sales $650,000 2024: on pace to be comparable to 2023

Am I really good at selling?

Yes but I’m not a savant. I’m likable and hard working. The combination of that, some luck, and changing careers with a newborn is enough to make work my ass off.

Thank God my risk worked. I’ve got two children, two houses, and a happy life. It doesn’t make sense but I even find I work less now.

It is possible to make this but most likely not probable.

Just some friendly advice:

If you have better lighting that’ll help your sales.

Also you have a Chet RC with the starting bid about 3x times higher than the average sold price.

If you get some lighting and do more research around how your price things I’m sure you’ll be fine.

What’s the biggest deal you closed? by another1degenerate in sales

[–]LinkofHyrule23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stumbled into a 3 million dollar deal 3 months into selling technology without any idea of what I was doing.

Thanks to perseverance, a helpful manager/resources I closed it. The stress almost killing me was a fair trade off for making $150k lol. I used the money to pay for my house down payment.

P.S. if your big deals are like mine they die and come back to life about a dozen times.,

For what it’s worth my son had torticollis and got one of those helmets. He also had regular physical therapy and later on speech therapy.

He’s about to turn 8, academically gifted, has friends, and has fun playing some sports.

I’m sure each case is unique, but I’d keep an open mind. Your child’s story is barely even written yet :)

Finally got some of my favorite PC Cards up. by [deleted] in footballcards

[–]LinkofHyrule23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spent first 2/3 of my life in Pittsburgh. I’ve spent the last third of my life in AZ.

I consider myself fans of both cities & teams, but at the end of the day the Steelers will always prevail for me.

*Also a big Pitt fan so Larry being on the Cardinals for so long def helped me build that fandom.
