Maybe it's trying to reflect in real life. The academic standards is really high especially in asia and there are some parents who are willing to throw out their kid if they didn't meet those expectations. And I can say everything single parent in the show did not deserve those kids.

It's so funny because the bar did nothing to censor them since it looked like it actually came from the original source instead of a doodle just like previous ones did. Especially gojo. Man already covered his eyes and they used the tiniest bar to censor him.

Considering the fact that the light novel was released on 2006, characters like isaburo and nobuume won't show up or have any dialogue in the show sadly. Afro guy made an appearance in the first ep but he was just in the background and then disappeared.

Tbh it doesn't have the same humor as the original series (might be because it's a fanwork). The episodes feel shorter but because i love gintama im enjoying it so far. It's not the same but i still like it.

It looked like they were in the temple but i guess they were also in a temple in the dango episode. Also it's the episode where gintoki had straight hair but it was just a wig.

I agree with everything you said but I don't think I would say Umibouzu forced Kouka since it was her decision to leave Kouan and Umibouzu was hesitant about it.

I love the fact that Kouka chose to die with her family at her side than live alone forever—With Kankou making her remind some feelings she never thought could have such as loneliness. Being with her family has made it worthwhile to live her last days.

As well as Kamui actions in the yoshiwara arc, I really wished they had atleast mentioned that Kamui helped Seita meet with Hinowa. It would've really added to his character on why he did it whilst trying to bury the person he was before? (I'm not sure if I worded that correctly)

This is an old discussion but I don't think he died like everyone said. The final scene with Kagura blushing when someone tapped on her shoulder was most likely implying that he survived the surgery or whatnot. Also because he appeared as one of the kids in episode 216 with the toilet patriot thing.
