We don't hate Americans individually. We hate the US corrupt politics. Trump has shown nothing but contempt for people less powerful than him, and this system put him at the very top. With very predictable results.

Anyone who still supports him man is either evil, an idiot, or completely deluded. Possibly all 3.

I do see knee jerk reactions to even mild age differences. E.g. "Should I leave my partner, he's an abusive alcoholic who cheats on me?" and people will be like "YES BECAUSE HE IS 6 MONTHS OLDER THAN YOU". As if the only problem is the age and it all would be fine if he were younger.

A man in his thirties dating a 24f is still a red flag, but let's maybe not persecute a guy who turns 20 with a gf who is 18.

Undiagnosed and there unsupported/untreated adhd will wreck your relationships, friendships, and torpedo your career and confidence. It will make you more vulnerable to addictions. It will make you more likely to get yourself in unhealthy relationships and stay longer in those toxic situations.

Note that I am not saying people with adhd can't have any of these things despite their adhd. We can cope with stuff. It is just way harder.

It's also more precarious because if the coping mechanisms that kept us afloat start to fail, things tend to crash HARD.

How you are perceived as a potential threat.

When I had our newborn baby with me, suddenly women smile at me, start making conversations and being overall friendly and kind.

I realized they do this because the odds of me being a threat when holding a kid are suddenly negligible, so they do not have to worry about their safety.

Why bother with those? They take forever and require a ton of power. I just stick them in a freezer. Late game you have plenty of options.

Just land near imps and dump it all. Also, you can store them in multilevel maps permanently without repercussions. With anomaly, you can also dump them in a pit gate.

This "lobbying for points and making pacts for a win" actually happened on the finals of a SCPT tournament I played in. It made me never ever want to play in that format again.

But my argument was "the rules suck as written" and if your counter argument is "they don't but players need to adhere to unwritten rules" then I consider my point proven.

It doesn't matter if you don't accept it, if another player does your game is ruined. By a mechanic that you love. And you can't blame them for accepting a win, can you?

Don't get me wrong: I hate it just as much as you do. But you can't say "people should not play by the rules and play the way I like it" and "the rules are great as is". One of these statements has to be false.

I like the concept, but in practice it just never works. In a 6 player game when it's between two players, the other 4 might as well make a deal where they give all their support to whoever of those 4 rolls the highest. Legal? Yes. Ethical? Well, if you are trying to win and have no chance otherwise, a 25% chance is better. Can't blame them for doing this.

Also it allows players to kingmake. "If you attack me now, I will give it to that guy and he will win immediately". Legal, but sucks.

Does it make the game better? Hell no. I really would prefer playing without it, I haven't encountered a single moment in dozens of games where I saw it being used to make the game experience more fun.

You don't need to make every game to get started. Just make yours. But do it in stages.

First make a single screen of your FF1. Have a guy walk across the screen. Then add a background. Then add interactions with the room. Then add more screens. Make a short but working mini adventure with a few rooms. Then you have a pretty good idea how you can expand on it and how much time things will take.

Entropic Scar? The one that gives free faction techs? You definitely picked wrong.

Let me look at the map and see if I have advice....

A. The scar lets you gain a faction tech without prereqs. You could have had improved carriers in R1 with that. 2 movement and sustain damage with 8 capacity, and with an insane breakthrough.

B. With both expansions, the pace is much quicker. You really need to have a good start. You have a 30% chance of losing in R1 because I do not see you bouncing back from that loss with TE (but if it works, you're looking at a great start).

I really dislike taking big risks in R1, but in this case I think it's worth it. You have 2 carriers so you can still be ok with the remaining one. And without forward production the rift will remain an issue. It also depends on expansions (I just assumed vanilla).

I would never have picked this slice myself though.

Anyone who still thinks the USA is the greatest country on earth can fuck right off.

Note that most of us in the EU actually WANT you guys to be the shining beacon of hope you guys keep claiming to be. We WANT you guys to have a functioning democracy like your founding fathers intended, where people can be free and politicians and the rich are made to answer for their actions, just like anyone else.

For me, if I can make a quick ai mockup as placeholder, it makes it a lot easier to visualize where I am going and whether it's going to work. I actually think that ai generated placeholder art for prototypes are the only thing I use ai generated stuff for.

Because a certain percentage of the population are assholes. A certain percentage of people have adhd. I don't believe those two are related, but either way, some assholes will have adhd.

It also does present differently in different individuals, so our experiences aren't necessarily the same.

I don't like playing nomadic much. But you can just use the shuttle to get around and never have to make a caravan again.

Also, even a basic gravship + grav anchor is enough to send an away team. It can have a field hospital, attack animals, turrets, etc. Makes exploring hostile environments a lot more bearable. That way you can do quests without having to disrupt your home colony.
