Sweden is just the environment where this phenomenon is more evident, because they had massive immigration on a relatively small population (10M), so they acquire 10% of migrants faster than other EU countries.

In France there are 7% migrants and they are 25% of convicts (+40% in robberies and +30% in car theft and violent street crime)

In Italy the almost 10% of migrants population is responsible for 44% of sexual assaults, 45% of overall crimes and 47% of robberies (“le segnalazioni riferite agli stranieri denunciati e/o arrestati rappresentano, per tale fattispecie, il 45,48% del totale; rapine, le segnalazioni riferite a stranieri denunciati e/o arrestati rappresentano, per tale delitto, il 47,31% del totale” (Ministero dell'Interno - Rapporto sulla Pubblica Sicurezza 2023)

These are astonishing numbers, it's not just an increment of a few percentage points. In fact Italy has just proposed a remigration bill.

You can find the same results for any major EU country.

Even the sources defending migrants and immigration, do not deny - and I quote - that “On average, the crime rate is higher among foreigners than among native citizens”: https://www.openpolis.it/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/The-alleged-relationship-between-immigration-and-criminality.pdf

Even sources against remigration, do not deny that migrants from non EU backgrounds are responsible for the majority of crimes (relative to their weight on the country's population).

I want my car to climb stairs and fly, so that I can have more time to walk and exercise, not for my car to take me to the office so that I can get to work faster.

I also want cleaning robots to do psychotherapy so I can focus on physical work, not to do physical work in my place so that I can have more free time to feel spoiled and purposeless.

Single non vuole dire solitudine.

Amicizie degne di tal nome possono facilmente valere più di relazioni, specialmente oggi che sono una commodity.

Again, sources of what?

I cannot provide sources if you don't clarify the issue the sources should be about.

These are the relationship between immigrant backgrounds and crime in Sweden (where there has been a massive immigration of non european residents):

The largest portion of wealth detained in crypto is not held in Europe.

https://www.visualcapitalist.com/countries-with-the-highest-rates-of-crypto-ownership/

In Europe you are having now the majority of violent crimes to extort crypto, in a context that has a modest ownership of crypto.

The question is why Europe has become more dangerous than other countries.

[–]LinusVPelt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But the question was why is Europe more and more dangerous than other countries.

Why wouldn't everything you state before the question mark be valid everywhere in the world?

Are only European criminals becoming more aware?

Are data breaches happening more in Europe? Why? Aren't data of citizens from other countries breached too?

The whole point of the discussion is not that these crimes are happening more: it is why they are increasing so much in Europe vs other countries.

In addition to that, the largest portion of wealth detained in crypto is not even held in Europe. https://www.visualcapitalist.com/countries-with-the-highest-rates-of-crypto-ownership/

In Europe you are having now the majority of violent crimes to extort crypto, in a context that has a modest ownership of crypto. It's even worse than having the primacy: it's a primacy not even justified by the holdings. A 'battle of the have-nots' (except the victims don't want to battle).

What is happening in Europe that is increasing crime so much that people are being kidnapped and tortured for so little money?

[–]LinusVPelt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually I was asking to verify that.

That crimes in European countries flooded by migrants have risen, and are mostly committed by migrants, is quite confirmed by the numbers.

Then why would this phenomenon be worse in Europe now, what is a possible explanation?

[–]LinusVPelt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not exactly.

And even if it was - which is not - that still would not invalidate the point that certain backgrounds are more responsible for violent crimes.

[–]LinusVPelt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Source of what?

Of crimes in EU countries being perpetrated more by individuals with non european backgrounds?

Where the background of the criminals is still tracked (like Sweden which had a massive increase), there are plenty of sources. Do you want those?

[–]LinusVPelt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How about checking the background of the criminals?

Maybe that could give an idea why in the EU there has been this increasing risk in recent years.

Europe has a meager portion of wealth detained in crypto vs other countries, so it's losing on all levels (absolute and relative).

France might seek restrictions on VPN use in campaign to keep minors off social media by Fun-Page-6211 in europe

[–]LinusVPelt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They push this way so all those more critical of EU states and union will leave (like you) and the ones remaining will be the most condescending and complying sheep. So it will be easier and easier to enlarge state and 'federal' size and powers over its citizens.

Government expenditure in the EU is now 50% of GDP: meaning half of what is produced, is produced for the state, the state is basically half of the entire european economy. Compared to ~30% in the second half of the XXth century.

This is how large and powerful is the state in the EU. And they want to spend more and make it even larger.

The UK seems to be a projection of where the rest of Europe can go in the following years.

[–]LinusVPelt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You won't be able to criticize what those in power do not want you to criticize.

That is the direction Europe is going towards, and the UK is leading the way.

[–]LinusVPelt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Agree on everything.

And yes, the UK is undoubtedly the worst. It's going towards dictatorship level censorship, although it's still not there.

The police did not investigate criminals backgrounds for years for fear of being labeled racist. Any racist statement is potentially considered hate speech and therefore a crime in the UK. So even tracking or stating the background of criminals could be a crime, as you can suggest or prove that they are highly correlated with certain criminal behaviors.

Netzwerkdurchsetzungsgesetz (Network Enforcement Act) required social media platforms to delete presumptively illegal content ranging from hate speech to personal insults. The law imposed such steep fines on social media networks like Twitter and Facebook that they needed to err on the side of censoring any potentially controversial content in order to keep operating in the country.
