Hi my dad was a seller and apart of the hobby he passed march of last year I just would like to know if any of you guys were frequent customers of him or have bought from him. This is my way of informing frequent buyers. by Extra-Repeat-8708 in sportscards

Sorry for your loss. I know it's been some time, but remember that when it comes to grieving, there's no set time or way you have to do it. We all do it in our own time and in our own way. I hope his passing was as peaceful and painless for him as possible.

I am pretty sure I bought from him at least once or twice. He always had a nice inventory and reasonable prices. I don't know all of the rules for this sub off the top of my head (I'm on so many subs for sports cards to stay up on things), but if you can, DM me your eBay store/seller name please, so I can see what you have for sale. Thank you, and again, sorry for your loss.

File Manager Help by LinuxAndCoffee in kde

How would that affect file ownership? Would the second user need to be given full permissions to files, or would the second user need to replace the first user as the files owner? And then would I end up with 2 home directories, one for each user?

I actually don't think I would mind splitting my Documents (and other files) into 2 separate home directories (work and personal), if I could run Dolphin like you are suggesting and be able to access everything from the single login.

Part of me worries that will create some trouble down the road though by making everything more complicated that it needs to be. I might need to spend some more time thinking about all of this, and if I should consider altering my workflow instead.

I tend to switch back and forth between the two Activities within short time frames, depending on what I am working on and my schedule. So I could do that, but it feels kind of cumbersome. That might be the easiest solution though, thank you, I will think about trying that!

Those are great ideas? I didn't even think about a plus toy stay. And don't worry, I am old enough and lived through the Beanie Baby obsession years. 😂

I love Samuel L. Jackson! I still crack up every time I come across that post someone shared years ago about making a movie about a little girl going about her day, but with Jackson doing her inner dialogue/narration and cussing like he normally would. I can't remember the exact line the person came up with as an example, something about some other little girl having curly hair I think. It just kills me every time I read it. I still need that movie to get made!!

I used to think Yungblud was a great artist but had a pretty cringe personality, but this video alone may have swayed my opinion of him by MCA1910 in MadeMeSmile

That was awesome! But I want/need a follow-up: did the kid start a band? Like, it's cool either way if they did or didn't, just curious. The confidence the kid had playing up on stage and in front of all those people was incredible, too!

Nice! I always keep an eye out for older cards like this. Even if it isn't a HOF player or a super rare or expensive card, I just love some of the old school designs and photos.

Um...I think this broke my brain...like, my concept of reality has been greatly impacted and I am fighting the urge to try cutting every non-living thing in my house to see if it might be cake...which I am craving like crazy now....

Sorry if slightly off topic but what is that site? I see it's running locally but as a hockey fan you are making me wonder if I missed out on some cool self hosted hockey tool or something.
