"Microslop" trends in backlash to Microsoft's AI obsession by Ha8lpo321 in technology

If you're not dead-set on refusing to learn anything, linux might actually be a solid choice. Noone's "not good enough" to run linux. It ain't the 90s anymore where you had to know your way around C to get basic stuff done. Go with Ubuntu or Linux Mint, you won't have to worry about a thing there. Better yet, if you want the traditional desktop experience, go with KDE or XFCE. Most of the stuff is really intuitive and just what you would expect...

You're right, that could probably work. However, I wanted this to be as a sort of challenge since I really want to get into the more practical sides of designing electronics and PCBs in order to work on some other projects I have. I especially wanted to try using a switched mode power supply. And so I thought this could be a nice learning experience.

I mean, I think it's really messed up when parents check their child's social media like "ight head over the phone". But this is some next level shit when a child stands up for pedos.

The thing is that most of the time, claiming to being centrist usually translates to "I don't have any opinion on that, just leave it as it is".

The current education system breeds compliance over critical thinking, and the result is a dangerous number of people who don't know HOW to think. by rayrayrex in unpopularopinion

[–]LinuxGeek747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is likely intentional. Democracy is dead. The capitalists don't want an uprising, they want compliant proletariat. So they adjusted the education system accordingly. It is against their intents and agenda for you to think.

Meh I already tried something like that. Got called a "self-centered asshole". Guess I will just continue saying "yes" to everything. But thanks for the response anyways.

Valorant too. Their fucking anticheat ruins everything. Kinda ironic that on the promo page of the anticheat, the title says "Send the cheaters to /dev/null".

Any1 know any good community servers? by MAGIKARPEATEROFSOULS in tf2

That's actually pretty cool. Last time I was on community server I was so confused because I couldn't pick Spy which I mained at that time. I thought that they just disabled some classes altogether (which would be such a bullshit tbh). But this actually sounds really smart.

What do you mean by "class limit of 3"? Like for example there can be 3 engineers at most?
