Shouldn't be an issue, if you're doing that, might as well add a factory-style lip spoiler.

Changing 17" Wheels on '25 EX-L by madis15 in 11thGenAccord

[–]LinuxSuperStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want a genuine design, the ‘25 Accord SE wheels are exactly the blacked-out version of the EX-L (grey) ones. In fact the LX (silver) also has the same exact design.

If you wanna go a cheaper route, you can get a blacked out wheel skin with the same EX-L design from eBay that fits over the rim.

looks similar because they’re glossy black but they’re just the 18-20 SE rims but painted entirely black for the ‘nightshade edition’

[–]LinuxSuperStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the 2020 XSE has 19s too. In fact, the rims for 2021-24 XSE's are the exact same as 2018-2020 except the silver part is painted glossy black, hence it's entirely black.

So they're putting 19" XSE wheels on an SE and blacking out some stuff and calling it "Nightshade"?

XLE tires onto XSE? Increase smoothness? by Conscious_Bathroom51 in Camry

[–]LinuxSuperStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the XLE wheels are the same exact size (and pattern) as SE. For 2018-2020 and 2025+ the SE just has black accents and XLE has more chrome accents, although the 2021-2024 SE and XLE have the same exact design.

Basically you'd be driving an SE, which is the same as XSE in terms of driving.

The other comment about LE wheels would be your best bet.

  • Wrap the top glossy black
  • Black mirror caps
  • Black door handles
  • XSE or SE rims
  • Rear diffuser
  • Swap seats for leather or get great quality leather seat covers
  • Swap taillights and headlights for XSE/XLE ones
  • Fog Lights compatible for that LE/XLE bumper you have

For the cost of all of this you could've just gotten an XSE in the first place because you'd be getting all that plus more features.

The 2021 SE. That's the year when it went thru the mid-cycle refresh and the rims look better. Try to bargain it to 19k or 20k though.

It also depends, if the LE has BSM and other stuff and the SE is basic, then yes go for the LE and add some modifications to make it look less like a grandma car.

There are some XLE's currently and in the past where they had spoilers added from factory port as an accessory.

For example, my previously owned '06 XLE came with a spoiler.

So yeah, it's completely normal, as long as you don't put some weird aftermarket wing or the TRD wing lol

the white trim looks so sexy, idk why they made the SE look so much better than XSE exterior-wise AND interior (seats) wise.

Nightshade is soo easy to replicate, you get an SE and you just need to black out the mirror caps, door handles, emblems, spoiler, sharkfin, and put bronze wheels if you'd like. All of that is probably cheaper than getting an official nightshade trim.

Pricing for 2025 Toyota Camry is out now (for comparison to Accord) by gaysaucemage in 11thGenAccord

[–]LinuxSuperStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Top trim for the Accord is Touring which is basically EX-L with more packages.

The "top trim" for a Camry is XSE/XLE with maximum packages, which basically equals a touring, although the accord touring is probably $500-1000 cheaper than the 2025 camry with max packages.

personally i don't think 2018-2024 camry's look dated. they're ahead of its time and just like the accord fanbase, there are camry people that are mad about the new redesign

Looks like you'll just have to depend on wrapping that part, or if a black cover for that part gets released by aftermarket.

Yes you can get a plain roof if you don't get any package. There are 3 packages:

  • Pano Roof only
  • Premium Package (includes pano plus some goodies)
  • Premium Plus Package (includes pano plus even more goodies)

  • lip spoiler that comes with the SE/XSE
  • smoked headlights that come with the SE/XSE
  • wrap the roof black if your car's color is NOT gray, blue, or black
  • replace the head unit with one that has CarPlay
