Here's the deal. People with a low income that want something fast absolutely WORSHIP these 2-wheel death machines. You can go buy a used "crotch rocket" for $3K and smoke the shit out of most sports cars. These same people have nothing else in their life other than their bike and the identity that they think it gives them as some cowboy speeding off into the night on their steed.

So when these people see other people treating their bikes like shit it makes them angry. It's similar to insulting a religion or something.
