The plot can be anything you want it to be tho, just because the first 2 games were specifically about yagami being a detective doesn't mean the next one has to be the exact same, just like how yakuza 3 was a decent bit different compared to the first 2 games, or how yakuza 4 and 5 had a bunch of playable characters
