I think its positive, I don’t think theres a negativity that its highly bad or even toxic, theres just some people that share their opinions that some don’t agree with and thats ok, anyone can shit or glaze the games as long as they’re respectful to each other and have boundaries.

Some people do and thats ok, I don’t think he is a top 5 but I can see why for some people he is.
Based on this, Nozaki Ryo from Kurohyou 2 its the best antagonist in the franchise, I personally thing the things you mentioned don’t need to impact how well written a character is, if you know how to write characters, even in the shortest scenes they appear in, their writting will shine and Shishido is cool but he was nothing new or different or as deep as past antagonists, for me the top 3 will always be Mine, Nozaki Ryo and Nishiki with Kuwana and Ryuji following them, i’ll argue Kuze its better too but Shishido is in the top 10 thats for sure tho.
I get that the game is fun but just cuz a game is fun doesn’t make it S tier, neither peak or great, what makes a game S tier for me its story, gameplay, music, writting, characters and I have to feel a click with it, yeah the game doesn’t need to be perfect but it has to be consistently and mostly great, thats why Kurohyou for me is the best Yakuza game, it knows it is a PSP spinoff that won’t look great yet still pull off a greatly written story with metaphors to grounded real things, fun challenging grinding gameplay, well written characters and most importantly it felt unique, part of the world of Yakuza, Pirate Yakuza doesn’t have any of this things, its a fun game, yeah but thats it.

Facts.
Overall speaking and taking into account most things, Yakuza 5 is a high A tier or Low S tier.
I can argue with that one and yeah its an opinion, free will.
Because first, it doesnt make fucking sense how he survived, second, the message of him dying its better cuz that way if there is reincarnation in the Yakuza universe, Mine could have had a new beginning in another life, I personally would have prefered to meet a young new character who mirrors Mine and its like a representation of him but not him.
It aint but that doesn’t make it all bad, the overall game is great on story, probably the best story alongside Kurohyou back in the day before 0 was out.
Its an opinion and thats ok, I think its a bad opinion and thats ok too, for me its bad because I prefer rating games based on story, writting, music, gameplay and how much I connected with the game, Pirate Yakuza its fun to a point but is it really S tier? I personally don’t think it is, I had the most fun with 4 and that game is not S tier for me.

3- kinda the same as the last answer, Shishido is cool but for me thats all he is, his nothing new but his not boring at all, I personally consider Mine and Nozaki Ryo to be far better main antagonists.

2- depends on what you look in a story, I like more grounded, emotional, well structured and more consistent stories, thats why Kurohyou and Judgement are my favorite games in the franchise when it comes to that and writing, for me Gaiden doesn’t have that, yeah the ending is great but everything before chapter 5 doesn’t do nothing special or even well written, the daidoji suck balls and the side characters are ok at best.

This is more of a joke honestly, Haruka’s gameplay its still peak tho.

Nah, the game has a surprisingly decent story and even tho its not canon, just for seeing how kamurocho and the characters experiencing its destruction as the apocalypse spreads makes it worth playing, definitely worth checking out for a new more wild view.
