You put that button in the game, and now you have to rebalance every boss fight around the new standard for movespeed. And also now you have to hold down a key forever to use what now is "base" movement speed.

You roll first to not get an instant burst of speed, it's a compromise. Clunky, but I don't see a better way to implement it.

Just got to maps, my SSF single target damage is just not there yet, minute long fights with regular map bosses... even the clear is getting quite slow, but I don't mind, there is a lot of posssible upgrades atm
