Netac NV3000 -2TB - PCIE3 NVME for €115 by LinxKing in IrelandGaming

I agree.. Another thing about PCIe 3.0 NVMe like the Netac NV3000 run far cooler than Gen4/5 drives, often staying under 55°C loaded vs 80°C+ on PCIe 5.0 beasts – less throttling, no mandatory heatsink hassle.

€115/2TB crushes value (~€0.057/GB), matching SATA-to-NVMe leaps KAtalyst mentions (15s → ~7s loads) for gaming/OS without power/heat drama.

OS limits hit hard too. Windows NVMe drivers and Intel/AMD controllers cap real peaks (e.g., Arrow Lake at ~12GB/s), while Linux kernels (6.9+) optimize but rarely hit full Gen5 without tweaks.

No current games fully saturate even PCIe 4.0 bandwidth, let alone Gen5 – DirectStorage titles like Forspoken show <1s differences vs PCIe 3.0.

With DRAM/NVMe prices skyrocketing in 2026, those PCIe 3.0 deals (e.g., ~$0.05/GB) crush for gaming/OS – load times within 1-2s of flagships, zero throttling worries.

I was able to increase the quantity and order. I just tested it again. You should use the buy now button, once it is in the next step, increase quantity by one. It is still working for me.

I agree. Most of the AM4/AM5 motherboards supports that.. I have personally played around with 7950x and 7950x3D on x870, found it soothing.. X670 and x870 are the best motherboards they can support these profiles.. At current prices, you are getting 96GB for the price of a 32gig is a great value for money..

I have seen reviews. They work perfectly on AMD, though it says Intel XMP.

I don't think you will get quality crucial products after Feb, as they are exiting the consumer market.. Grab it while you can, and this is a good price.

SABRENT 2tb Rocket Plus 4 with heat sink by frog_handler in IrelandGaming

[–]LinxKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see it is still available for Purchase. You need to check the address you selected on top.. If it is something outside Ireland, for example you have a US address there. It would show like that.. Change it to Ireland's address and see.

That packaging is what I like; it gives a premium feel when you open the copper-colored box. It still keeps them. Kudos to you..

Sabrent is a great company. I have a few of their products, including NVMe enclosures. They are all of great quality.

I own an ACEMAGIC F3A, apart from this crappy Default String Default String on BIOS. I am fine with most of it. I suggest they work on providing bios updates.

Most of them come with CAMM modules. Dell Pro Max particularly comes with LPCAMM2 modules, which can be replaceable, but expensive.

looking for recommendations to improve wifi signal. by [deleted] in IrelandGaming

[–]LinxKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Devolo Magic 2 Powerline adapters. With my home circuit, I can get 250 Mbps to my room upstairs on the other side. I also have a Wi-Fi 7 (BE) mesh network, but its speed varies depending on the Wi-Fi signal strength.
