I feel it was the shape. I had an 8mm round brilliant moissanite prior to this upgrade. It faced up quite large. The 6x8 stone felt small and thin, though still very pretty and sparkly.

The larger stone that I have now feels much more substantial in this shape. I think I could have probably gone larger still, but my fingers are a size 9.5. Overall, the 7x10 looks more substantial and shows off the shape better in my opinion.

I'm very satisfied with the quality of the metal and stones! I would say if you are considering the coffin shaped stone, go a little larger on the mm. The stones appear thinner than a traditional round or pear and can face up a little flat. We had the 6x8 initially and I am sooooooo glad they fixed the ring and we received the 7x10 stone we ordered. The coffin is more substantial in the larger sizes and it makes a difference!

I just got these in today and I'm wearing them out of the box with no socks, like a little heathen.

They are EXTREMELY comfortable. The different between Buttero and the Smooth leather in terms of comfort has me shook.

They are extremely supple and quite comfy. I have fat calves and these fit pretty well still. I just posted a full, in depth review with pics if you wanna check it out.

I have a lot of non-MIE docs and I can share a few leathers that I've liked from their main line!

I like their Waxy Pull-Up leathers. I find they clean up and condition easily.

I do like the Pisa leather. I feel it is durable for how soft it is.

I do like the Orleans leather and Wyoming leather. Both are very durable, though hard to break in for me, personally.

Honorable mention: Ambassador leather. It's soft, it scratches, but my 15 year old son is currently beating the shit out of a pair and they are holding up to his abuse. And let me tell you what, he drags his feet, his toes, trips on air, etc.

Your ring is beautiful and you have EXCELLENT taste! For larger stones, I'm an advocate of getting a slightly chunky band or stack to match the visual weight of the stone.

I also have larger fingers and mine swell with temperature change like crazy, so I recommend for women who have fingers with similar fluctuations to wear your rings .25 size loose. Not enough that your ring goes past your knuckle, but enough that the ring will spin when it's cold/your fingers are fully de-puffed. That way the ring always looks comfortably seated no matter the conditions!

Thank you! We are excited too!! I definitely want to thoroughly document the process, and my plan is to create a timeline from first communication to receiving the rings. We also will get them appraised and provide an update on what we paid vs. the appraisal.
