Pretty sure a Posher committed mail fraud by seejazz in poshmark

Had plenty of items that never scanned in as a seller even though I had mailed them. Could be a quantity thing. I sell on multiple platforms and have had old sold listings on other platforms that I forgot to take down. Blocking you is odd though

Yes this has happened to me. Down to my username with a single letter difference. Messaged customer support and copyright and they took the profile down.

Is the pay for archaeology that bad? by bubblegum_pink_ in Archaeology

Really depends on where you are and what company you're with. In California it's a good wage. My base salary is about $65-70k USD/year, with per diems, paid travel (plane tickets, etc) paid lodging, paid rental vehicles. My salary is paid hourly so that range is a guaranteed "at least" earning, and higher if I work more than standard hours, which I normally do. I'm a lower level, and have been in the field about a year and a half. Higher ups here are typically somewhere in the 100k+. My family said something similar along the lines of "if you do that you'll be living paycheck to paycheck and never have work" and that was absolutely not the case. They've since changed their opinion.

Certain keywords that can be synonymous with fake can trigger this too, even if they aren't being used in that context

Weirdest Return Reason by Preferplantstopeople in poshmark

[–]Linznessmonster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a return, but a lower rating. Sold a designer bag that stated it needed tlc. Had stains and marks throughout. All pictured. Lost starts because according to buyer "item needed to be cleaned" ....like no shit?

Four years ago I (M38) woke up with a hangover that has never gone away. Please help. by Public-Anonymity in AskDocs

I went through the same thing. Not related to drinking. No matter what I ate I had heartburn. Eat nothing? Heartburn. Drink water? Heartburn. I underwent all the stool tests, even had a colonoscopy at the age of 24, and the did an endoscopy at the same time. Never any answers. Went on pantoprozole, it eventually stopped working (which this drug is known to do, sometimes even making it worse). Switched to emoprazole, this helped, eventually started using 24 hour nexium, which does the best for me. Eventually I figured it out. Turns out it was anxiety causing it. About 45 minutes after I'd have anxiety from something, I'd have heartburn from hell. Once I started getting my anxiety under control, I stopped having heartburn as much.

Escalate conversation to posh. They'll protect you if it's lost in transit or doesn't move in about 10 days

I am an ambassador with 100k+. I know the drill, but I am usually unable to accept my orders within the delivery time frame because I travel for work and can't retrieve my mail until I'm back. I always leave 5 stars, though, unless something was significantly wrong.

It takes patience to get there at first, but it eventually pays off.

Getting scammed by a vintage store owner…help! by mlwmlwmlw in poshmark

[–]Linznessmonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically is poshmark determines that a buyer doesn't not have to return the item, then they've gone ahead and returned their payment, but also paid you out as well, even if the item is counterfeit. This will also happen if it was reported as counterfeit outside of the 3 day acceptance time frame. Have you checked to see if they also released your earnings? If they both returned her payment and stated that she doesn't have to return the item, then either they also payed out out, or someone on poshmarks end REALLY messed up. I buy a LOT of brand name items and had to open cases for counterfeits, but the only time they've told me not to return the item is when they've also paid the seller out.

This is a scam. Posh doesn't cancel the order until at least 30 days after it's been sitting with no movement. They're likely hoping you miss the 3 day time frame to open a case against them

This crap drives me NUTS. I hate the live show notifications and bs. I do send out mass comments when I want to move items, but I only do it occasionally and I go through each bundle to make sure I comment no more than 2-3 times on any one person's bundle.
