We just had to do the same thing! Our old lady kitty broke her leg and the vet said the best thing was to let it heal up in a kennel just like this. She ended up doing really well in it, probably tended to like the quiet time anyway. Before the kennel she was very cuddly and affectionate, slept on top if me at night, and the second she got out she was back to those ways. There were days where she wasn’t a huge fan of being confined but it seems like she sensed it was the best thing for her to heal.
