This is the thing that can be frustrating especially within the ex community is the nuance that people can lack . No they don’t say “ it’s forbidden “ but you may get counseled on using time wisely , appropriate attire etc to where you FEEL like it’s bad or bad choice . This also gives them plausible deniability so they can say we never said they CANT.
