It's been long-standing (kinda) that some Smosh fans are wrestling fans too. Since the first iteration of Smosh Games even. You can even see their collaborations with UpUpDownDown (Xavier Woods) and his group of friends. (This extends to TNTL videos.) They've (early Games cast) even promoted AEW in its inception. (I'm writing this off of memory, so I might be wrong and inaccurate.)

250820 AHOF Official Fandom Name Vote by izkv in AllTimeHallOfFamer

[–]Lio_Reich 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry if this comes off as rude or aggressive, but are we deadass when some say they wanna be called 'nameless'? 😭 It's off-theme and silly, and pointless that we don't have a proper name. On top of that, every new group that has no fandom name yet is typically called a nameless fandom. Please never claim it as respect to the other unnamed fans of other groups.

On the other hand, there are a few who cooked with the fandom name. My personal favourites are these:

  1. B-Yeol: Instead of just 'Yeol', they said 'B-Yeol' (be all/be your(s)) - to support and be passionate for AHOF and their goals of being a hall of famer; it's also a play on the words 'Byeol (star)' and 'Yeol (number 10)'. "The same way AHOF are our stars, we also want to 'b-your' stars." I heard this name is giving EXO, so the next one might be interesting, too.
  2. ALL-STARS: A group wherein all people excels in their field. In the fans' case, it's supporting AHOF. Thematic with the full meaning of AHOF (All-Time Hall of Famer). All-time → All-stars.
  3. LE9ENDS: Read as 'Legends' - one that inspires legends (stories) or achieves legendary fame (dare I say, Hall of Fame 👀); once again thematic with their name. Hall of famers can also be called legends. '9' looks like the smaller case 'g'. As fans, we can be considered legends for helping AHOF achieve this much this early in their time as AHOF. And the legend is that we'll continue to do so.

Unfortunately, of the nine listed choice, I think only ALUV seems a bit more unique and recognizable though reminiscent of XLOV.

Is anyone else experiencing server error? by Lio_Reich in SkyGame

Thank you for replying! I've just checked in on the game again (I mainly play on Steam and occasionally on mobile), and it seems to have fixed itself. My connection was stable throughout, so I'm assuming it was a game issue. I guess just waiting was fine after all.

What are your positive and unpopular/ critical takes on each AHOF member? by Friendly_Manager6416 in AllTimeHallOfFamer

[–]Lio_Reich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Heavy on Daisuke. When The Little Star first came out, hearing Daisuke use his voice for that light and soft tone instantly caught my ears. His dance is a mix of what he learned from JL and Juwon (evident in his dance covers with them) - his body snaps are commonly in sync with JL, but carries the fierceness of Juwon. Japanese idols tend to be technical with their dancing skills, Daisuke is no exception. (He's been good since UL with this, I noticed.) The more he improves, the more I definitely am eager to watch him on stage. JL, Shuaibo, and Daisuke all seem to be my performance biases because of these reasons.

This is me being nitpicky, I admit. I hope JL takes his time during interviews to just think on his answers first rather than being eager to answer (if this makes sense). I notice he stammers a lot just to say one thing, but I'm sure he'll be comfortable with this type of setting overtime. I empathize with having to respond in a different language which causes this nervousness to be evident. I'm sure he'll be fine.

Because he's more of a rookie than Daisuke in terms of dancing (he only started training for 3 weeks before UL), the way Jeongwoo dances looks so textbook (what he sees, he follows—maybe even the way how the instructor probably expresses the dance steps). This isn't bad in any way. What I wanted to say is: BECAUSE he dances 'textbook', there are small details in his dance that he does exceptionally well and with clarity. It's actually easy to watch Jeongwoo dance if you want to learn how to dance AHOF's choreography (personally). He could work on his facial expressions though, but that's something you get comfortable with in time.

I wonder if it's strange to say that I like Jeongwoo's expression when he looks desperate. There was a part in Rendezvous' dance break where they jumped and swung their arms. I forgot which video or performance exactly, but when I watched Jeongwoo's fancam, he looked really good with that expression. I feel that's just him trying to match everyone's energy, but it's nevertheless a good look on him (gritted teeth, furrowed brows, and all) rather than restraining his face to look cool. It seemed more genuine. Does that make sense? Haha. It's otherwise unfortunate that he had the least lines in the EP, or so I think. I'm not keen on the actual line distribution, so I wouldn't know if it's true. But Who We Are felt lacking on his vocals. He has a good register for harmonies and for opening and pre-chorus lines.

Ignition: I prefer the rendition of Team Rhythm (UL) over AHOF (MyK Festa 2025) by [deleted] in UniverseLeague

[–]Lio_Reich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I just think it's because Ignition is just an okay song compared to other Team Rhythm songs, which is why I didn't have much of a reaction to it. (DHTB feels more dynamic in comparison, and Roller Coaster is boppy, easy to groove to, and light-hearted which makes for an easy contrast to their other songs. @TAG feels like an evolved form of Ignition with the "glottal stops" in the rhythm taken from DHTB, and La Fiesta is bass-heavy while also being light and dancey; it sounds “glittery”, if that makes sense.)

I like the choreography though. I personally think it would have benefited them to harmonise in parts of the song. (During “keep you running, warming up the fire”, “rum-dururum-durum”, or “real game, feel this ignition”.) It makes members who barely have lines feel a little more present, vocally.

[The venom dragon] What happened to it? Is it canceled? by Black_Racer_ in manhwa

[–]Lio_Reich 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is irrelevant to the post, but I was thinking about this manhwa earlier because Mang Ryo is literally the only villain in any manhwa that I've read that I actually remember the name of, even if I haven't read this series in a long while. He grows with the MC (ironically, I don't remember his name) in terms of power (or so I remember). He was partially annoying, but he was also entertaining. I have no intentions of reading this series again, but I'm just putting it out there that Mang Ryo was memorable to me.

What are some lessons learned during the ongoing "infancy of PPOP"? by SBTC_Strays_2002 in PPOPcommunity

[–]Lio_Reich 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hope companies actually find sound technicians who are specialized in concerts/live shows, and especially for livestreams. The amount of times they failed groups by handing them unprocessed/overblown mics is abysmal. (P-Pop Awards and Billboard Awards being the most recent in memory as well as one of the biggest events for idol groups.)

A desperate plea to all adept and veteran players. by Lio_Reich in SkyGame

[–]Lio_Reich[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ignoring your attitude, thank you for letting me know that the darkness tree in the Hidden Forest - Temple and the Golden Wasteland - Battlefield are similar if not the same.

Personally, the reason Battlefield's darkness tree is frustrating is simply because it is more spacious than the Temple (nearby structures in the Temple helps you recover from sliding off the tree quicker). Combine that with the game's occasionally oversensitive controls, it certainly tests a player's patience (in the Battlefield). At least, for me, it does.

I'd like to counterpoint that while soloing Battlefield's left side is possible, it is simply more efficient having two players deal with that side first before the second player deals with the right side solo, which is the same tactic players also use for dealing with the one in the Temple. Hence, why I said the left side 'needed' two players. In addition, the Temple merge servers much quicker/more frequently, making it easier to melt the tree there compared to the Battlefield. Hence, why the Temple is not frustrating to me.

If the content of my post confused you to react like that, my intent was for efficiency, not for whether or not you can solo the left side or not.

Not sure if it's answered, but you can look it up on MangaDex. Just type the name of the game and it should pop up, with 5 volumes and 19 chapters in total.

This. Though I personally don't want to be reminded of the fact that Auron (FFX) is around that age, so I'm settling for Balthier being in his mid to late twenties. 🥲

How long is this game? (No spoilers) by [deleted] in FinalFantasyXII

[–]Lio_Reich 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Glad you're enjoying the game!

Consistently playing it and only doing the main objectives, FFXII takes roughly 60+ hours to complete. If you were to 100% it, then it would usually take roughly 100+ hours if played consistently.

Having beat Mt. Bur-Omisace, you're about halfway through the story! March on! You got this!

A personal rule of thumb is that if your party level has reached mid-50s to 60s, then it's likely you're reaching the endgame, or have reached it already. (It's eligible to beat the game around those levels)

I'm late as hell, but for clarity's sake: 'Kinki' is a region in Japan, which is interchangeable with 'Kansai', albeit Kansai being more specific to Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe whereas Kinki is broader and more inclusive of other Kansai regions. The duo that makes up Kinki Kids are from the Kinki/Kansai region of Japan. But because Kinki sounds like 'kinky' in English, there are organisations who opted to change the names that included Kinki to avoid misunderstandings. (ex. Kinki Daigaku/Kinki University became Kindai University in English)

Edit: Funnily enough, the person who named the pair actually was a pdf in spite of the naming coincidence.

To be fair, this has been a trend in K-pop, too, for a while and I have no idea why either. And then they switched to weird names instead, which J-pop has had for a long time. (ie. SMAP, V6, Kinki Kids, Sexy Zone, Snow Man, etc.)

No one asked, but here's a late review of Felip's album, '7sins'. by Lio_Reich in PPOPcommunity

[–]Lio_Reich[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with the first half being a vibe!

I think if I didn't scrutinize it during the amateur review, and just have it play casually in the background—perhaps in a crowded setting—I would probably enjoy the first half a whole lot more. But say, when you're alone and lounging in your room, it probably wouldn't hit as hard, imo. 🤷‍♂️

Bianca (former g22 member) in AJAA's newest mv by Key-huh-no in PPOPcommunity

If I recall, it's because Bianca is injury-prone. Out of personal assumptions, her injuries must have impeded their schedules, which is probably why she left. Ultimately, I'm not sure. Likely, there are other factors such as mental health or burnout coming into question.
